Isara Remo, Ogun State — On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa Oba Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo, Otete III, the 38th Odemo of Isara Remo, proudly installed High Chief Tajudeen Babatunde Kolapo, affectionately known as Ajalenkoko, as the new Apena of Isara Remo in the Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The traditional chieftaincy installation ceremony took place at Iledi Osugbo, Isara Remo, surrounded by royal fathers, traditional chiefs, community leaders, family members of the new Apena, and other esteemed guests.

This important position of Apena became vacant after the passing of the former holder, the late Chief Joseph Olufemi Soyombo, who left us in 2025.

During the installation, Oba Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo extended his heartfelt congratulations to High Chief Tajudeen Babatunde Kolapo and his family, offering royal prayers and blessings for a successful tenure as Apena.

The monarch encouraged the new Apena to uphold values of steadfastness, truthfulness, honesty, commitment, and loyalty to both the traditional institution and the people of Isara Remo.

Oba Ogunbayo also urged him to focus on the progress, unity, and socio-cultural development of Isara Remo, while advising him to embody the admirable qualities of his predecessor, especially loyalty, faithfulness, dedication, and a strong commitment to preserving and advancing the rich culture and traditions of Isara Remo.

The traditional installation also welcomed Olori Abimbola Ogunbayo and her friend, Mrs. Magret Omosebi, among the distinguished attendees.

Among the esteemed traditional rulers and dignitaries in attendance were Oba Mukaila Akanji Olabinjo, the Eleposo of Eposo; Oba Dr. Adimula, the Nloku of Iraye Remo; High Chief Efuwape Olatunji, the Araba of Isara Remo; High Chief Taiwo Sodade, the Oluwo of Isara Remo; High Chief S.
