PDP Loses Ward Chairman as Comrade Musa Adeniji Defects to ACCORD
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibarapa North has suffered another setback following the resignation and defection of Comrade Musa A. Adeniji, a two-term Ward Chairman.
In a formal letter dated January 20, 2026, addressed to the Ward 10 Secretary of the PDP, Adeniji officially withdrew his membership from the party, citing personal reasons after what he described as a careful review of his participation.
Comrade Adeniji, who served as Ward Chairman from 2021 to 2025 and was recently re-elected for a second tenure, has now pitched his tent with the Accord Party.
Political observers say his movement is a clear boost for Accord in Ibarapa North, further strengthening the party’s growing grassroots presence ahead of future elections.
All of us in ACCORD warmly welcome Comrade Adeniji and look forward to his commitment and contribution towards our party.
