*OLUYOLE ACCORD: OFFICIAL CLARIFICATION ON REPORTS OF MOVEMENT TO APM*
The attention of Accord, Oluyole Local Government, has been drawn to reports making the rounds about political movement from Accord to the Allied Peoples Movement, APM.
We acknowledge that in politics, individuals may choose different paths based on personal conviction. However, it is important for the public to know the truth as it concerns Accord in Oluyole LGA.
For the record, the online membership register of Accord across Oyo State shows that Oluyole Local Government has a total of *2,068 registered members*. Out of this number, only *Hon. Wahab Kazeem Olasunbo, popularly known as Laskaz*, is the single registered member who has moved to APM.
All other individuals being linked to this movement are members of Adekola Foundation, not registered members of Accord. Adekola Foundation is an unrecognized forum by Accord, Oluyole Local Government. They are not listed in our membership register, not represented in any of our decision-making bodies, and most are not even found within the wards or zones they claim to operate. Their meetings exist in name only, talk less of having structure in Oluyole LGA.
Accord in Oluyole is one body with one leadership and one direction. We do not operate two versions of Accord in Oluyole. There is only one Accord, and every registered member remains under that single umbrella. With 2,067 of our 2,068 registered members still fully intact, the claim of mass defection is false and misleading.
Our focus in Oluyole remains on unity, discipline, and service to the people. The foundation on which Accord, Oluyole LGA, stands is *Oneness and Progress*. That foundation guides every action we take as we continue to strengthen our organization and serve the community.
We therefore call on all members, supporters, and residents of Oluyole to disregard rumors and unverified stories. For accurate information about Accord in Oluyole, please rely only on statements released by the leadership of Accord, Oluyole Local Government.
Accord in Oluyole is united. Accord in Oluyole is strong. Accord in Oluyole remains one.
