We had a fruitful engagement with our People who are property owners on Ibadan Circular Road Corridor.

While we all agreed that the Circular Road project is necessary and critical to Oyo State, the meeting also agreed that engagement must be thorough and continuous until the agreed compromise is implemented by the government and the affected property owners.

I assure them that people - centric development is the goal and we won't change from that.

Yesterday, Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi officially handed over to the new Chairman of the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Upgrade Committee, Arc. Ifeoluwa Akande.

It has been a privilege for him to serve in this capacity and contribute to a project that holds great promise for the growth and development of Oyo State.

Yesterday, Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi met with the Oyo State Amalgamated Association and also engaged with leaders of the following associations: Binukonu Food Sellers, Cattle Dealers, Livestock Sellers, UPC, Boluyo, Miyetti Allah, Affam, and Poultry Farmers.

He also engaged Iyalojas, Babalojas, Fulani communities, and stakeholders from the Oke-Ogun region.

Their discussions focused on strengthening unity, collaboration, and shared prosperity in Oyo State.

Hon. Adekanmbi remains committed to working with all groups across the state to build an Oyo where everyone thrives.

Earlier this morning, Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi was at the Methodist Church Nigeria, Wesley Cathedral, Elekuro, Ibadan, where he served as Chairman of the Day during the celebration of the Church’s 68th Choir Anniversary.

We congratulate the Choir, the Church leadership, and the entire congregation on this remarkable milestone. We pray that the choir’s ministry will continue to uplift lives, inspire hope, and glorify God for many more years.

Hon. Adekanmbi also worshipped with the leadership and congregation of Seed of Christ Golden Church. We appreciate them for the warm reception and prayers.

It was also a delight for him to interpret during the service — a gift he grew up with as a child. It brought back cherished memories and truly felt like home.

We thank both churches for the opportunity to fellowship and serve.

We remain grateful to every person of faith who continues to lift our state in prayer. It is through our shared values of love, justice, and service that we find the strength to build a better future together.

May God continue to bless Oyo State and unite us across every faith in peace, purpose, and genuine love for one another.
