ARTISTS, LET’S TALK: THIS IS IMPORTANTšŸ‘ˆšŸ‘ˆšŸ‘ˆ

Many artists struggle, not because they lack talent,
but because talent alone doesn’t pay the bills.

Here’s something I’ve learned on my journey as an artist:

People don’t buy art.
They buy emotion, meaning, memory, and value.

Your drawing is not just lines on paper,
it’s a gift, a story, a moment someone wants to keep forever.

If you want to grow as an artist, you must learn this:

1. Stop marketing ā€œI drawā€, start marketing what your art does.
2. Let your page clearly show what you offer and how people can order.
3. Short videos (time-lapse, process, reveal) sell faster than photos.
4. Connection builds trust, talk to your audience, don’t just post and disappear.
5. Teaching and sharing your process increases credibility.
6. Clear pricing attracts serious clients.
7. One artwork can create many contents (repurpose wisely).
8. our story matters, people support artists they understand.

Skill brings attention.
But visibility, clarity, and consistency bring income.

To every creative reading this:
don’t hide your work.
Don’t downplay your gift.
And don’t wait until you feel ā€œreadyā€.

Grow loudly. Learn daily. Create boldly.

My 2025 YouTube recap šŸ“ŠāœšŸ½
Going into 2026, I just want this post to remind someone that growth is real, but it rewards consistency, not rush.
2.2M views, 19k+ subscribers, and 42 uploads didn’t happen overnight.
It came from showing up even when motivation was low, learning from every post, and trusting the process.
If you’re creating and it feels slow right now, don’t stop.
One video, one decision, or one year can change everything.
Here’s to discipline, growth, and bigger wins in 2026 šŸš€

This is what people don’t always see behind art.

The tired eyes.
The weak hands.
The moments where your body says ā€œrestā€ but your heart still says ā€œdraw.ā€

Being an artist is not just about talent.
It is about showing up even when inspiration is low.
Even when your back hurts.
Even when your last drawing didn’t turn out right.
Even when nobody claps.

Many artists quit not because they are bad,
but because they get tired mentally, physically, emotionally.

If this feels like you, let me remind you of something important:
šŸ‘‰ Resting does not mean giving up.
šŸ‘‰ Feeling tired does not mean you are failing.
šŸ‘‰ Slow progress is still progress.

Sometimes all you need is to sit down, breathe, and keep going, one small line at a time.

Your art matters.
Your effort matters.
And this phase will pass.

If you’re tired today, rest.
But don’t stop.

Every artist goes through this. Yes… even the great ones.

At first, you love making art.
You feel excited. You feel free.
Then one day… nothing comes out.
That’s no creative ideas.

You try again.
You look at your work and think,
ā€œMy art feels bad.ā€

Then suddenly—boom šŸ’”
You have a great idea.
You feel alive again.

This is the artist’s journey.

It is not a straight line.
It is a circle.

'Loving art' 'getting stuck' 'doubting yourself' 'finding ideas again.'

Many artists quit at the ā€œmy art feels badā€ stage.
But that stage is not the end.
It is a sign that you are growing.

Feeling stuck does not mean you are talentless.
It means your mind is learning something new.

So if you’re there right now, don’t stop.
Don’t compare.
Don’t quit.

Rest if you must. Learn. Observe. Try again.

Your next great idea is closer than you think.

Where are you in your artist’s journey right now?

If you only read the first line, you’ll misunderstand this completely.

But if you read to the end, you’ll understand exactly why this message matters.

A lot of beginner artists copy other people’s work thinking it will help them improve. And yes, copying does teach you proportions, shading, confidence, and observation. Every artist starts there.
But staying in that stage for too long becomes limiting, and most people never tell beginners the truth about how it affects their growth.

Copying helps your hand, but not your mind. When you rely too much on someone else’s ideas, you stop training your creativity. You start depending on other people’s concepts, and you become scared to draw without a reference. It feels like improvement, but it slows down your ability to think like an artist.

Then there’s plagiarism, which many beginners fall into without knowing.
Plagiarism isn’t just ā€œcopying.ā€
It’s copying someone’s art and presenting the idea as your own. No credit. No permission. No originality. That’s where the harm begins.

Social media makes it worse. Beginners and some other artists get likes and praise on copied work, so they keep copying. But when they finally try to create something original, they freeze. They struggle. They lose confidence. And they don’t understand why, because no one ever told them that inspiration is healthy, but imitation has its limits.

The truth is this: you learn from other artists, but you grow from yourself.
References are good. Studying masters is good. Practicing from photos is good. But your real evolution happens when you start building your own ideas, even if they are simple at first.

That’s how you develop a style.
That’s how you build creativity.
That’s how you train your artistic mind.

If you truly want to grow, use references responsibly, give credit when necessary, and focus on building your own visual library. Mix ideas. Experiment. Try things from your environment. Make mistakes that belong to you.

COPYING IS A TEACHER, BUT ORIGINALLY IS THE GRADUATION.
And every beginner deserves to understand that early…
not years later when they wonder why their art isn’t evolving.
At the end of the day, anyone can learn to draw, but only those who dare to create their own ideas become artists.

Just to add some clarity to my previous post…
This artwork here is a perfect example of what I meant by drawing inspiration instead of copying.
This artist (Castro Adefisayo) did amazingly well, but instead of repeating it, he created something unique with his own ideas, his own expression, and his own style.

That’s what real growth looks like in art.
We all inspire each other, that’s normal, but turning that inspiration into something original is what makes you stand out.

Much respect to artists who put in the effort to stay creative and true to themselves.
This is the kind of originality I truly appreciate ā¤ļøāœšŸ½

I just want to share something with you all real quick.
So I recently saw a drawing that was made directly from one of my artworks, the person copied the exact concept, composition and idea, and even used it to enter a competition.

I don’t mind inspiring people.
But using someone’s artwork as a direct reference and presenting it as your own idea isn’t right.
You can draw inspiration, but you still need to create your own concept so you can grow as an artist.

If anyone here knows the artist, please let him know this:
Copying someone’s work won’t help you improve. It only limits your own creativity.
We rise faster when we stay original and honest with our craft.

Much love to everyone supporting my art. Let’s keep pushing creativity the right way ā¤ļøāœšŸ½
