MY HUMBLE ADVISE TO THE ABIA APC LEADERS

All my life, I have been a man of peace. I hate and detest any form of trouble. Ask those who know me.

Honestly, I am deeply worried about the latest crisis that seeks to tear the Abia APC into pieces and in my very peaceful nature and as an unChartered Conciliator and Arbitrator, I want to offer my little piece of advise to the two leading gladiators in the Abia APC imbroglio - Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and Rt. Hon. Ben Kalu.

Listen to me, Onye Ishi! You are the most Senior Person in Abia APC today. Before anyone thought of APC, you had been. In this State, you were the first man to become Governor in the current democratic dispensation. You should be respected.
Ben Kalu is your boy. You brought him into politics. You groomed him. You made him Local Government Chairman when you were Governor. You made him SA to the Governor. You ensured that he was elected to the National Assembly. How can he come now to drag leadership with you? Imagine the infradidnitatem! It's not as if you have retired o. You are still very much in active politics and a serving Senator.
President Tinubu is your mate in the 1999 class of Governors. Between 2019 and 2023,Femi Gbajabiamila from Lagos was Speaker of the House of Representatives. Speaker O, not Deputy Speaker. Yet, at no time did he come out to drag leadership of APC in Lagos with Tinubu, despite the fact that Tinubu wasn't holding any public office then.

If you let this slide, you are finished in politics o. Push hard. Tell him that you are his Oga.

The Supreme Court failed to determine the case brought before it by PDP governors against the FG. The Apex court failed to determine whether the president had the right to declare a State of Emergency in Rivers state.
They simply left the file in dusty archives.
Me: Very shameful to the body of Justice.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE ILLEGALLY ARRESTED AND DETAINED

I was in court this morning and there’s this case where EFCC arrested and detained a person since 30th may 2025.

The suspect filed fundamental rights action through his lawyer challenging the continues detention. When the EFCC lawyer was addressing the court as to why the suspect has been in their cell, omo Court 'spark'. The court told EFCC “you people can be lawless sometimes, why would you detain somebody for 16 days without court order? That is why you people lose case up and down”. The court was very angry sha. (But why EFCC go detain person for 16 days na?, e get as e be).

Imagine say the reason for the arrest and detention na bcos the suspect dey owe somebody one million naira. Since when did EFCC become a debt recovery agency?

Finally the court gave judgement against EFCC, the police and the creditor (the person that the suspect was owing) ordered them them to pay 1.2 million to the suspect/Applicant for the unlawful detention.
So you see why you should not sleep over your right?, because, our judges are still here doing justice and being the hope of the common man.

My Advice:
1. Stop using police and EFCC to recover debt, it is illegal.
2. If you are arrested unlawfully, tell your lawyer to file a Fundamental Rights Enforcement suit

Countless times I have stood close to people while they take their last breath on earth but
No time have I ever seen any dying man request to know how much he or she has in the bank.

No time have I ever seen any request to see his biggest cars, houses or investments one last time, at that point they don't even remember they had a phone or wherever it is.

No time have I seen any request for his certificates, awards, trophies etc again before they die.

It's always people they love that they request to see or be around while they die, this tells us how important love and relationships are.
But it's quiet unfortunate how we most often ignore love, betray relationships while chasing things that won't matter to us during our last moments.
This is just to remind us never to joke with people we love and those who loved us in return

You will spend more time being dead than being alive, yet you do not want to prepare for death. But if you hear that strangers will visit your house, you will clean it up. Why not also clean up your life since you know it is only a matter of time before death visits you? Why should you look down on anybody in life? Even the least person on Earth can look down on you and I when we die. Even if we wear a Rolex, it would not stop our time on Earth from being over when that day comes. No matter what we eat, maggots will still eat us when we die. Therefore, as you eat, remember those who can't eat. Share with them, because maggots will share also eat you and them in the end
