I was once a pageant contestant, and I chose not to wear a swimsuit.
For me, confidence was never about revealing more skin—it was about staying true to my values while pursuing my dreams.
That's why I support Miss International's decision to remove the swimsuit competition. Beauty, intelligence, leadership, purpose, and character can all be showcased without a swimsuit round.

Inclusivity makes pageantry stronger because it welcomes diverse women from around the world.
