ARE YOU UNCERTAIN AND MAYBE FEARFUL ABOUT WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS FOR YOU? GOD HAS A WORD FOR YOU 👇
I do not fully agree with the statement, "nobody knows tomorrow". I may not know everything about MY TOMORROW, but I certainly know some things. How? The word of God talks about my tomorrow!
For instance, God has said,
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you AN EXPECTED END.”
— Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)
My future is not uncertain, God's word says it is good, it is full of peace, it is glorious and I believe it absolutely! Praise God!
There are two things every believer must know about God,
1. God cannot lie
“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” — Num 23:19
If God says it, you can put your life on it. It is absolutely true and will not change. So once God has spoken about your future, you have a simple duty, BELIEVE HIM!
2. Whatever God says, He has the capacity to perform
Everytime God speaks, He speaks according to His capacity. God only speaks with His mouth, what His hands have the capacity to do 1 Kings 8:15.
But come to think of it, is there anything God cannot do? If He says it, He absolutely has the power to do it!
So whatever God says in His word concerning you is sure. IT WILL SURELY COME TO PASS.
Many believers live with fear and uncertainty about what their lives will become. Listen, dear child of God, your life is not a ludo game. Don't leave it to chance. You have the power to absolutely decide in partnership with the Holy Spirit what your tomorrow will look like.
HOW?
1. Commit yourself to searching out from scriptures WHAT God has said concerning you.
God has said, "you are the head, you are the light of the world, you are a king, you are powerful". But you have to find it and believe it first to become it.
2. Commit yourself to searching out from scriptures the "HOW" to become what God has said concerning you.
Many have seen what God has said concerning them but they cannot become it because they have not discovered HOW.
God has said, "you are great", there is a "how" to become great in scriptures. Find it! He has said, "you are rich (prophetically)", there is a "how" to become rich in reality. Find it!
If you commit yourself to finding out from your bible, what God has said concerning you and the "how" to becoming it and you begin to live it, God is faithful, He will SURELY ensure that you become it.
It is on the strength of this understanding that we can say even in the midst of challenges, "for we know that all things work together for our good".
My future is not uncertain, it is predictable. By the integrity of scriptures I know what my life will become and I know it is GLORIOUS.
Fast forward to the future when these things come to pass, I will thank and praise my God knowing He is the doer. But I will not be surprised. Why? He showed me in His word before it happened. I will smile and tell everyone that cares to listen, "GOD DID IT BUT I SAW IT COMING".
