A Milestone for JAREKING GALLERY LTD! 🎉
On Monday, 3rd August, we successfully held our Àdìre (Tie-and-Dye) Skills Acquisition Workshop, marking our first external training engagement. This was facilitated during the 2026 Youth Week Programme at All Saints Military Church (ECC), Ede Barracks, Osun State.
Nineteen enthusiastic youths participated in the hands-on session, where they learned about the history and cultural significance of Àdìre, fabric folding and dyeing techniques, and the basics of wax-block printing. Each participant created a unique Àdìre fabric while gaining valuable practical skills and insights into the entrepreneurial opportunities within the craft.
We sincerely appreciate Mr. Joseph Efe Echi, the programme coordinator, for the opportunity to engage with the youth and for his unwavering support throughout the programme. We also extend our gratitude to the leadership of All Saints Military Church (ECC) for their warm reception and strong commitment to youth development.
This workshop represents a significant step in our mission to preserve cultural heritage through practical learning, creativity, and entrepreneurship. We look forward to many more opportunities to impact lives through art.
