How do I start? 👀

It’s no biggie, but sorting your waste is a big step. 🪜♻️

Big change doesn’t always start with big actions. Sometimes, it starts with something as simple as knowing what goes where. One small habit can inspire a friend, a school, a community, and before you know it, small actions become big change. 🌱

So, what small action will you take today?

Different Contexts. Common Aspirations.

WE ARE NOT JUST “THE FUTURE.” WE ARE ALREADY CHANGING THE PRESENT💚 💚 💚 💚 💚Toda...

WE ARE NOT JUST “THE FUTURE.” WE ARE ALREADY CHANGING THE PRESENT
💚 💚 💚 💚 💚

Today, on International Youth Day 2026, one truth deserves to be louder: young people may come from different backgrounds, communities and circumstances, but our aspirations are deeply connected, a chance to learn, to thrive, to be heard, and to build a future we can actually be proud of.

And that future will not be created by hashtags alone.

It will be built in classrooms.
• In climate action.
• In our communities.
• In ideas that become solutions.
• In young people who choose to stop waiting for “someone” to fix things and start doing what they can with what they have.

That is the message behind the work we are seeing here at Eco Sustainable Future Initiative (ESUF): climate education is not just about knowing what is happening to our planet. It is about giving young people the confidence, knowledge and opportunity to do something about it.

Because the question is no longer “Can young people lead?”

The better question is: Are we ready to listen, support and make room for them to lead?

Different contexts. Common aspirations.
Different stories. One shared planet.
Different starting points. One responsibility: to leave a better world than we found.

To every young person reading this: your voice matters. Your ideas matter. Your community needs you. Start where you are. Use what you have. And make the change real.

Happy International Youth Day 2026!

We are certainly not behind ✊✊

Young people are finding their own ways to respond to the environmental challenges around them, from climate education and sustainable farming to recycling, waste management and keeping our communities clean.
Climate change is already affecting how we live, work and grow. The question is, what do we choose to do about it?

Take a look at some of the young people already doing their part and choose your next line of action 🫵🫵

We are reading the news and watching the events unfold as several communities are suffering severe environmental impacts.

Are you still in doubt about climate change? You should be stirred to take action by now.

It's a new month, keep it green and clean from your end 💚💚

What if waste wasn't waste at all? ♻️✨

At UBEC Secondary School, Akpabuyo, we challenged students to see everyday waste differently through our "Trash to Treasure" session.

Students learned practical upcycling skills, including how to make reusable pads, transform old jeans into tote bags, and convert plastic waste into beautiful pouffe stools.

The session sparked creativity, encouraged environmental consciousness, and showed that sustainable living can begin with simple actions.

By equipping young people with practical green skills, we're helping to raise a generation that sees opportunities where others see waste.

Because a sustainable future starts with innovative minds and purposeful action. 🌱💚
