Here is the FULL POEM: Tell Africa.

TELL AFRICA.

I hear the neighbors
Awake with ancient grudges
That's starting another rumble.
An ancient grudge against the
Giant made so many children
Wear war uniforms!

I laugh, I will not blame the
Rat for the absence of the cat.

Tell Africa, that Nigeria has
Bled for her, what do I get in
Return? A dance of shame
On the streets, like madmen
Chasing shadows!

Tell Africa that, it was Nigeria
That broke Kolanut where
The fathers gathered to chew
Them with molar-teeth,
And shared inheritances so
That you children can be free
On the playground!

All I see right now,
Are children wearing adult
Clothes and pouring insults
On the face of the Warrior
Who wrestles domestic wars...

I laugh, I will not blame the rat
For the absence of the cat!

Tell Africa, that their ancestors
Cry in the graves, because that
Kolanut made one heart
for their fathers...
But now, the children have
Returned with empty heads
From school, where the teachers
Have taught them nothing!
