We’re almost at the end of the first half of the year… but did you ever intentionally PAUSE?
Not sleep.
Not movies.
Not scrolling.
Not activities to simply fill time.
Just plain old, uncomfortable, “boring” pause. 🤔
I’ve noticed many of us dread this activity I call The Pause.
We rush to fill the silence with noise, people, entertainment, work… anything but ourselves.
In fact, it is often in these moments that people return to relationships and habits they already know are unhealthy, just to avoid sitting alone with their thoughts.
And trust me, I understand the struggle.
The initial fear of your own mind.
The loneliness.
The exposure of emptiness.
Yet, it is in this “boring place” (this place I call solitude) that many people discover who they truly are. Because on the other side of solitude… is solace.
And it is in solace that a human being can find their beauty and become one with Chukwu-okike (The Creator).
Push through the noise:
In prayer
In meditation
In stillness
There is creativity, healing, clarity, and direction waiting on the other side.
PS: It’s a journey, not an overnight destination.
Share your solace experience in the comments — someone may need your story to keep going.
