In a small shop at the corner of a noisy street, an old light bulb hung from the ceiling.
Every day, it watched people come and go.
One evening, a brand-new fancy bulb was brought into the shop. It was brighter.
The new bulb looked at the old one and laughed.
“You’re too dull,” it said. “Soon they’ll throw you away.”
The old bulb said nothing.
Days passed.
Whenever electricity went out and suddenly returned with a strong surge, the new bulb flickered in fear.
“I hate these power changes!” it complained.
But the old bulb stayed calm.
One stormy night, the power returned with a loud spark.
Pim!
The new bulb burst instantly.
The shop became dark.
Then slowly… the old bulb came back on.
Dim.
Weak.
But still shining.
The shop owner looked up and smiled.
“This old bulb has seen too much to give up now.”

A mirror hung on the wall of a busy home.

It showed every stain, every wrinkle, and every smile exactly as they were. It never lied to make people feel better.

One day, a boy frowned at his reflection and asked his father,
“Why is the mirror so harsh?”

His father replied,
“A good mirror tells the truth, even when the truth is uncomfortable. Be like that — honest, but helpful.”

Moral: Truth may sting, but honesty helps people grow.

Final Episode_The Light After
-----------------------------------------------

‎The Dibia arrived, just in time.
‎Obiora lay still, barely breathing.
‎“He will live,” the Dibia said quietly,
‎“this was not a blow meant for him.”

‎Adaku never left his side.
‎She nursed him—
‎Patiently

‎Mma came often.
‎But not just for Obiora.
‎Between her and Obiora’s brother—
‎Something had begun.

‎Three full moons passed.
‎And slowly—
‎Obiora returned.
‎Strength in his body.
‎Light in his eyes.

‎One night—
‎Under a calm, watchful moon—
‎The four of them sat outside Obiora’s house.
‎Talking.
‎Laughing.
‎
‎Then Adaku spoke.
‎Softly.
‎“Obiora…”
‎She paused.
‎“Whose wedding were you fetching firewood for… that day?”

‎Obiora smiled
‎“Ours,” he said gently.

‎Adaku blinked.

‎“I was preparing… for a wedding I wasn’t even sure would happen.”

‎His brother laughed.
‎“I told him he was mad.”

‎Laughter filled the night.
‎
‎Then Obiora turned to her.
‎Held her hand—
‎Serious.
‎“Be my wife.”

‎Adaku smiled.
‎Tears shining in her eyes.
‎“Yes… my king.”

‎And the firewood—
‎Did not go to waste after all.
‎And they lived… happily ever after. 🖤🔥

The End.

Episode 13_ Trapped
---------------------------------------------
Adaku dropped beside Obiora—
‎Shaking him.
‎Crying.
‎Calling his name.
‎“Obiora… please… wake up… please…”

‎Behind her—
‎Nneoma rose slowly.
‎Silent.
‎Dangerous.
‎From within her wrapper—
‎She pulled out a knife.

‎Step by step—
‎She moved toward Adaku.
‎Lifting her hand—
‎Ready to strike—
‎Then—
‎She froze.

‎White chalk—
‎Nzu—
‎Hit her.

‎Her body stiffened instantly.
‎Unable to move.

‎Voices filled the forest.
‎Men shouting.
‎Running.
‎Obiora’s brother—
‎And the young men of the village—
‎Burst into the clearing.
‎They saw everything.

‎Adaku on the ground—
‎Crying over Obiora.
‎One look—
‎And they knew.
‎Silence fell.
‎Heavy.
‎They lifted Obiora’s body.
‎Carefully.
‎Slowly.

‎Adaku followed beside them—
‎Tears falling endlessly.
‎Empty.
‎Broken.

‎Behind them—
‎Nneoma stood frozen.
‎Eyes open.
‎Trapped.

‎And Ohia Otaru watched.

Do you think Obiora survived the attack?

Episode 12_ Fire ball missed
------------------------------------------------

‎“He rejected my advances… and chose you instead,” Nneoma said, her voice shaking with rage.
‎“I told you about the man who wouldn’t look at me…Obiora was that man...it hurts to see that same man chasing after you?”

‎As she spoke—
‎She stretched out her palm.

‎A ball of fire formed.
‎Burning.
‎Deadly.

‎It shot toward Adaku.
‎Before she could react—
‎Obiora moved.
‎Weak—
‎Barely conscious—
‎But he pushed her aside.
‎Taking the blow.

‎The fire struck him.
‎He fell.
‎Lifeless.

‎“NOOOOOOO!” Adaku screamed.

‎Nneoma froze.
‎Her face crumbling.
‎“My king…”
‎She ran toward him.

‎Adaku sprang up—
‎And shoved her hard.
‎She fell backward.

Episode 11_The revelation
-----------------------------------------------

The witch raised her hand—
‎As if gripping something unseen.
‎Obiora’s body jerked—
‎His hands flew to his throat.
‎Gasping.
‎Struggling.
‎“Please… don’t… don’t do this…” Adaku cried.
‎“Why are you doing this?!”
‎The witch smiled.
‎Cold.
‎Terrifying.
‎“I told you already,” she said.
‎“I want him.”
‎Her voice deepened—
‎Echoing through the forest.
‎“He will be the perfect king beside me…”
‎Her laughter roared.
‎“…and together, we shall rule the earth.”
‎“No… he chose me—”
‎“NO!”
‎The witch snapped.
‎“You stole him from me.
‎“I saw him first,” she continued bitterly.
‎“on the night of the full moon… at the maiden dance.”
‎As she spoke—
‎Her body began to change.
‎Twisting.
‎Shifting.
‎Until—
‎She stood revealed.
‎Nneoma.
‎Adaku staggered back in fear.
‎“My suspicion was right…” she whispered.
‎“The voice was familiar… your visits… your advice…”
‎At that moment—
‎The spell broke.
‎Obiora fell—
‎Hitting the ground with a heavy thud.
‎“Obiora!”
‎Adaku ran to him immediately—
‎Lifting his head into her lap.
‎“Come back… please…”
‎Her hands trembled.
‎Her voice breaking.
‎“Obiora… please wake up..."

Do you think Obiora made the right call?
