BREAKING: BARR. SIMEON EFENUDU DIES AT 81
One of Isoko foremost politician, lawyer and one time Head of Service and Secretary to the Delta State Government, Barr Simeon Efenudu has passed on. His death occurred on Friday, December 13, 2024 at his home town of Otor-Owhe, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State. He was 81. Barr Efenudu as at the time he died was a member of the Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council. He was for many years the Chairman of the PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) Delta South Senatorial District. Barr Efenudu has the record of being Delta State first Head of Service and Secretary to the State Government when Delta State was created in 1991. He played a key role in the establishment of the Delta State University Campus at Oleh among other developmental projects that he used his position to attract to Isokoland. He is survived by a wife, daughter, grandchildren, brothers and sisters as well as members of his political family who hold him in high regard.

Security concerns in Isoko.
Dozens of suspected children kidnappers disguised as mad men have reportedly invaded Isoko forests and towns. The vigilance of some Isoko people led to the arrest of the ones in this videy who made very alarming confessions about their activities in Isoko.
