Warm greetings distinguished movie makers .
On Friday 7th of August the National President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Alhaji Yakubu Sanusi Abubakar will be inaugurating and presenting certificates of service to the executives of the Actors Guild of Nigeria Delta State Chapter ... Alongside other invited dignitaries. He will unveil the new AGN Delta State Secretariat So therefore We call on all actors to honour this event at Orchid Hotel DBS road Asaba by 11am
As a sister guild we call on all other sister guilds to please allow Actors and crew members to attend this event.

The High Commissioner of Namibia to Nigeria, Mr. Walde Natangwe Ndevashiya, has held talks with the leadership of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and representatives of Travelwings Nigeria on opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation in tourism, film production and the creative industries. History

The meeting, held on August 3 in Abuja, was attended by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Mr. Abubakar Yakubu, the guild’s Immediate Past President, Dr. Emeka Rollas Ejezie, MON, Secretary Ms. Ifeoma Okeke, and the Country Director of Travelwings Nigeria, Mr. Abhavesh Punjabi.

According to the Namibian High Commission, discussions centred on expanding collaboration between the two countries in areas including film production, tourism promotion and creative industry development.

Participants also examined opportunities to encourage filmmakers to utilise Namibia’s landscapes and tourist destinations as filming locations while exploring initiatives aimed at promoting greater cooperation between stakeholders in both countries’ creative sectors.

The meeting further considered areas of collaboration in skills development, mentorship, knowledge exchange and investment to support the growth of Namibia’s creative industry and strengthen engagement with Nigeria’s film sector. History

The High Commission said the discussions formed part of ongoing efforts to deepen bilateral relations through cultural diplomacy, tourism and investment, while encouraging closer collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders in both countries.
