South east is a region blessed with industrious men and women who are economically endowed but lack the alacrity to attain to the annex of power (political power)
SouthEast Has been a state that lack the political advantage when it comes power in Nigeria because of the historical nature of the acephalous system practiced and also the nature of igbo men who hardly respect Power. You can hardly see a past south east senator,governor or minister making waves in the frontier of any national deliberation because they are politically rendered useless by it's citizens while in power.
Nigeria is a democratic states and part of what makes up a democratic republic is an existence of opposition who would use all propaganda to totally exhaust the leaders in power. And this is what has continually prompt the political advancement of that leader.
Apart from Peter Obi who was widely acclaimed majorly because of his own ability to continually get his political ambitions waxing. No other South Eastern brothers has reached that stage.
The people have always fail to praise their leaders rather look more in the critical aspects. I know how many Igbos politicians has called for the release of January. But the question is who among them has a say in the federal ?.
Igbos have leaders but how many can stand for them when they make strong resolution against the marginalisation of ndigbo. Onu ogbonna was laughed at by Igbos when he cried of the underserved ways Igbos are treated. Orji Uzor kalu was widely laughed at when he spoke also about the political degradation of the south easterners, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and Ifeanyi ubah who irrespective of its fight for the Igbo nation died and was celebrated by some igbos . Unfortunately, many Igbos were against them not for anything but propaganda. Look at the current Igbo leaders , majority of them are been criticized by the Igbos . We can't build elite if we can't support them. Igbos need to stand strong in defending their leaders rather than critique. More reason other regions easily get through difficult situations than the Igbos . Dr Rocha's,Sen orji Kali, Prof Soludo, Alex Otti, Peter Obi,late Ifeanyi ubah, to. Mention but a few. This are top Igbos elite that are needed to be supported and backed at the federal forum to represent the Igbos in it's matters. This are Igbo governors , duo it's a democratic republic.Suppport them till the next election. You are meant to do that. We. Igbos need to do better 🙏
