Five Star Music has released an official statement regarding the arrest and prosecution of
Harrysong.
The pop singer was yesterday r eportedly arrested by the Police » , after charges of fraud and breach of contract was against him.
Five Star Music has revealed, in a statement, that this is indeed true, and also shared details of how Harrysong was signed, and the terms of his contract that he breached.
According to the statement signed by Mr C.C. Chris for Five Star Music Limited , Harrysong has performed at local and international events without the consent, permission and inclusion of the record label, and has failed to release three studio albums that were contained in his deal.
Excerpts from the statement are published below:
It has become both imperative and necessary to state our position on the ongoing misguided and fallacious news making the rounds in the media between our esteemed record label and Mr. Harry Tare Okri.
"Sometime in 2008 when Mr. Harry first approached our record label for a music contract, we immediately declined the request when we found out that he had a subsisting contract with one Mr. Kevin Luciano of ‘Question Mark Entertainment Label’ . All efforts then by Mr. Harry to influence our management proved abortive as our position was maintained on grounds of equity, fairness and professionalism.
For further avoidance of doubts on the true facts of the present situation, our management has decided to officially set the records straight, because of negative and pervasive influence being foisted on the psyche of our numerous and well meaning fans.
1. Our first encounter with Mr. Harry was sometime in 2008 when he approached our management for a music contract. As stated above, according to our findings at that time, his contract with ‘Question Mark Entertainment Record Label’ was still subsisting and valid. Obviously we declined when we found out that Mr. Harry’s plans were ill orchestrated against his employers, by walking out on them without fulfilling the obligations clearly contained in his running contract with them.
2. When Harry’s employers (Question Mark Entertainment) got wind of his frantic efforts to desert his contract, a stern and official public statement was issued against Mr. Harry and a certain clause establishing his existing contract was clearly published for full consumption by the general public.
3a. The tussle continued between Harry and his employers till sometime in 2014 when Harry once again approached us, this time very desperate. We opened preliminary discussions with him but demanded an official document from his former employers relieving him of any obligation or liability with regards to his contract with them.
3b. Our move to do things right and professionally with Mr. Harry earned us a Twenty Million Naira Legal Suit (N20,000,000.00) from Mr. Kevin Luciano of Question Mark Entertainment (Records are there for confirmation). We were joined as co-defendants with Mr. Harry.
Juxtaposing the above with what is going on now, it is quite unfortunate because “Good intentions counts as much as good actions, and the person seeking to do good is as good as someone who actually does it.
3c. Knowing the vulnerability of Mr. Harry on the impending legal suit, we solicited the help of certain well respected individuals in the Music industry to wade into the matter, one of which was our dear veteran Daddy Showkey . Mr. Luciano having found out our intention from inception to act in good faith, agreed to withdraw his suit against Mr. Harry and our company BUT, not without consequential and settlement fees of Five Million Naira (N5,000,000.00, records available for verification).
We paid this amount solely without Mr. Harry contributing a dime!
4. It is often said that “When people sense that someone else is vulnerable, they tend to attack, for when the calf falls, the knives come out”. However, in Mr. Harry’s vulnerable situation, we did nothing of the sort. Rather, we whole heartedly bought all his liability off Question Mark Entertainment Label, and welcomed him as a family into Five Star Music Label, a genuine gesture and decision we are all regretting this present day.
5. Because we are known for running our affairs professionally and legally, we signed a three year contract with Mr. Harry and certain conditions and obligations were specifically and properly spelled out apart from the terms of the contract. Most important of these were his obligations to our Music Label, which amongst others include:
1. That he must deliver at least, three (3) full music albums on or before the expiration of the first term of his three year contract, otherwise the label solely reserves the right either to rescind or extend the contract.
These conditions were never met.
ii. While in the employment of the Five Star Music Label, he must not engage himself in anyway whatsoever, whether directly, by proxy or through a third party in any Music or recording business other than that of Five Star Music. This condition was also repeatedly breached as Mr. Harry has been releasing music, going on tours locally and internationally without our consent or paying the agreed percentage to the label.
6. Five Star Music wishes to state categorically that this reckless breach of contract by Mr. Harry stands contrary to our company’s work ethics and will therefore be pursued to a logical conclusion using the full instrument of the law.
In setting the records straight, let it be known that before now, the label refrained from instituting any legal actions against him for his blatant breach of contract, just because he was still considered as part of Five Star Music family. However, his posture as clearly manifested through his lawyers whom have continued to write and make all kinds of assertions and threats to the label necessitated our immediate response for the general public to know the truth and inherent facts of the story. For it is said, that facts speaks for themselves.
We therefore advice the general public to tread with caution and desist from transacting any business with Mr. Harry Tare Okri , as same is both illegal and a total breach of his existing contract with our record Label, ‘Five Star Music Label’ . Notwithstanding what propaganda he feeds the public, we further advice that proper verifications are made from us, as there is no iota of truth emanating therefrom.

PRIMATE AYODELE DROPS SHOCKING PROPHECIES FOR YEAR 2017.
— Jan 8, 2017 6:53 am
The presiding pastor of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Babatunde Elijah Ayodele (JP), who has been making pronouncements over the years – including the victory of Donald Trump in the US elections, Nana Ado Akufo of Ghana, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, amongst others – gives a run-down of his impressions for the New Year. IMMA IGBOKWE captures the major highlights.
Banking Sector
The Federal Government must work on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)’s monetary policies, otherwise the recession that we are experiencing will take us another seven years to get out of. The CBN is not implementing the right monetary and economic policies, as God directs. Until the CBN does the right thing, Nigeria may not come out of the recession until the government does the right thing. Also, I foresee the changing and redeployment of some directors and other top management staff within the CBN.
I foresee mass sack and redeployment of workers in Fidelity, Diamond, Access and GT banks, A*o Savings & Loans Plc, redeployment of some bank managers, new steps on cash deposit and withdrawals.
Also, I foresee Diamond, Keystone and Fidelity banks having issues with the CBN. Also, the CBN will come out with another policy to tackle the recession, but may not be able to execute the formula as properly as it should. There will be abundance of fake N500 notes in some states in the Northern part of the country.
The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) will face challenges and work tirelessly on bad debts owed by the banks. I foresee fire outbreaks in some of the CBN’s branches.
Aviation
There will be agitation to merge some agencies together, such as the NACA and the NAAN. Workers of Arik Airline, Lufthansa and Dana will stage protests. The nation’s security agencies will intercept attacks in our airports.
Foreign Scene
The government of Donald Trump will have so many issues and troubles and, of course, his policies will be criticised. Donald Trump will escape attack and he will have a relationship with Israel and Russia, though he must be careful with both countries.
Trump will come about new policies and it will not work, unless he picks a woman as the secretary of state.
A new terrorist group will be formed in Europe and Asia and there will be changes in the leadership of the European Union. Also, Syrian militants will regroup and Aleppo will be restructured, as militant will come and attack it again. The Syrian government will use chemical weapons on her citizenry and commence killings and bombings, in order to evacuate the president.
There will be problems in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), especially in Togo, where they will revolt against their president for his misrule and mismanagement. Human rights groups will gang up against the president of Togo and there will be changes in the leadership of the African Union (AU).
There will be serial killings in Turkey, Germany, France, Israel, Nigeria, Libya, America and UK.
There will be changes in the Buckingham Palace; the queen and prince must be prayerful for good health.
The ISIS will trouble America and some parts of the world. North Korea will lose a substantial number of its army and seek the friendship of America.
There will be permanent cure of cancer and HIV in the world and Nigeria will be a part of it.
The next President of Benin Republic will shock a lot of people and it will come from the southern part of the country, the Yoruba-speaking part. America, France and Britain will support Nigeria in fighting terrorism. America may lose a movie star, fighter and wrestler. There will be protest against the government of Brazil. These are the words of the Lord.
National Population Commission
NPC will take wrong steps in counting the nation, the figures will be incorrect and some commissioners will be changed.
INEC, Elections
The INEC will change some of is strategies relating to election procedures and there will be a change in the date of the 2019 general election.
Transportation
The NURTW will have huge issues and there will be killings in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo.
Power and Energy Sector
I foresee rancour in the Energy and Power Supply. Power supply will be partially stable in Nigeria in 2018. I foresee major blackouts before 2018, as the sector will be having problems. The energy tariff will be unstable and customers may challenge the tariff. I foresee the Heads of Electric Power Distribution Companies facing crisis. I also foresee corrupt practices in the sector. The Eko Electricity Distribution Company Edo Electricity Distribution Company, Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, Ekiti Electricity Distribution Company, Kwara Electricity Distribution Company, Kogi Electricity Distribution Company will have problems. Our electricity megawatts will drop in May.
Education
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will change its strategies in the handling of its affairs which will be good news to students. I foresee JAMB reverting back to the use of the manual method for the conduct of its exam. I foresee that West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO) will review their systems in the conduct of the General Certificate of Education Examinations. ASUU will break into factions. I foresee that Minister of Education will review some certain things in the sector. The Head of JAMB and WAEC should also pray not to witness crisis and troubles. JAMB will review its cut off mark. There will be changes in the conduct of the Common Entrance Examination. I foresee some crisis and protest against increment of tuition fee in the polytechnics and universities which may lead to shut down of some universities. Some university will get burnt and mysterious death. Cult will cause problem in some of our universities. Some of the vice-chancellors – especially of as OAU, University of Calabar, University of Nigeria, Ahmadu Bello University – should pray not to have crisis.
The Polytechnic of Ado Ekiti, Offa Poly, Lagos State Polytechnic, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Ijaniki and the Yaba College of Technology will all go through crisis.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) will not be scrapped but the reforms will affect its modus operandi.
Nigeria Police Force/ Air Force
I foresee problems and mass deaths and redeployment in the Nigeria Police Force. The Ikeja AOCs in Kaduna and Ikeja, Lagos must be careful and senior officers in the NPF will be involved in a scandal. The Airforce’s logistics will be changed and so will the head of the army’s procurement unit.
Politics/ Nigeria
Nigeria will sign an agreement with Germany, France and United States of America on terrorists. President Buhari will face a lot of disappointments among his trusted aides and political associates and will suffer set-backs in his goals for Nigeria and there will be issues amongst his political admirers.
Let the Abia and Adamawa governors pray well, in order to survive the court matters ahead of them. I foresee tension in both states. I also foresee political tension in Kwara, Kogi, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Kano, Sokoto, Kaduna, Kebbi, Zamfara, Benue, Plateau, Edo and Yobe states.
The Igbo should form an alliance with a strong party, because their time has not yet come. They will not win the presidency in 2019. South-west may be cheated politically. South-South may lag behind, except they rise up and come in one voice.
I foresee changes in the leadership of APC and crises, as well. There will be division and rancour in APC as the chairman, Oyegun, will face challenges. I foresee religious and tribal crisis in some states and ethnicity trouble. I foresee a major crisis and killings in the Northern part of the country. Jonathan will be honoured and lead a peace mission to the Niger Delta and still defend his government, though Buhari will want to probe him and try to rubbish his name. IN ALL, Jonathan will survive and overcome it. Buhari will form new political associates with some South-western politicians who will oust Asiwaju Tinubu. Both men will part ways.
Buhari and the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, will have a deep disagreement and Murtala Nyako’s bid to come back to relevance will suffer huge set-back.
The agitation for Biafra will cause Buhari’s government a lot and the government will have to release Namdi Kanu, because he may have health issues in prison. Also, the president will change his Chief of Staff and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Nigeria will build a nuclear plant and agitate for the return of looted funds.

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye remains the General Overseer, Worldwide of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG.

A statement signed by Leke Adeboye, the clergyman's last son and Personal Assistant said the clarification is coming on the heels of misrepresentation of Pastor E. He also appealed to members to educate people around them and not spread inaccurate information stressing that Pastor E.A Adeboye remains the General Overseer of RCCG Worldwide.
