Dear You,
Read this carefully.
Many people believe that if they sacrifice enough, love enough, give enough, or endure enough, marriage will eventually become their reward. That is not how marriage works.
Sleeping with someone does not secure a wedding date.
Acting like a husband or wife before marriage does not guarantee you will become one.
Cooking, cleaning, paying bills, making endless sacrifices, or constantly proving your loyalty cannot make someone choose you.
Love should never be used as a bargaining tool.
Marriage is not a prize for good behavior.
It is not payment for your kindness.
It is not compensation for your sacrifices.
Marriage is a conscious, intentional, and lifelong decision between two people who willingly choose each other.
If someone truly wants to marry you, they will do so because they love you, value you, and see a future with you, not because they feel indebted to you.
Never lose yourself trying to earn a place in someone's life.
Never confuse overgiving with commitment.
Never mistake sacrifice for security.
Protect your heart.
Know your value.
Maintain healthy boundaries.
The right person will not marry you because they owe you.
They will marry you because they have wholeheartedly chosen you.
Always remember:
Marriage is not a reward.
Marriage is not an obligation.
Marriage is not pity.
Marriage is not payback.
Marriage is a covenant built on love, purpose, and mutual choice.
Choose someone who chooses you freely.
