Many people are chasing power, mantles, titles, and spiritual gifts, yet neglecting the very thing that sustains true anointing, the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
You can be heavily anointed.
You can carry fire.
You can prophesy accurately.
You can heal the sick and raise the dead.
You can move in dimensions of power.
But if your character is empty, your anointing will eventually collapse under the weight of your flesh.
What sustains the gift is the fruit.
The Bible speaks about the fruit of the Spirit:
Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (self-control).
These are the true proofs of spiritual maturity.
A man may carry power and still lack love.
A preacher may have revelations and still be arrogant.
A prophet may see visions and still lack kindness.
A tongue-speaking believer may still be bitter, proud, unforgiving, immoral, and toxic.
Being called “Man of God” does not automatically mean a man is transformed in character.
There are people who are gifted but not yielded.
Anointed but not broken.
Powerful in public but empty in private.
The fruit of the Spirit is what builds Christian character.
It is what makes believers stand out before God and men.
Without love, power becomes dangerous.
Without self-control, authority becomes corruption.
Without meekness, anointing becomes pride.
Without patience, ministry becomes oppression.
Enough of seeking mantles without maturity.
Enough of desiring platforms without purity.
Enough of wanting power without character.
Because in no time, a man with gifts but without fruit will eventually fall.
Gifts can open doors,
but only character can keep a man standing.
