Never assume that the person encouraging you is free from pain. Sometimes, the one giving you a shoulder to lean on is carrying a burden far heavier than yours. They smile, advise, motivate, and stand strong for others, not because life is easy for them, but because they have chosen not to let their struggles define them.
Life has taught me that many people are fighting silent battles. Some are dealing with financial challenges, family problems, disappointments, health issues, and uncertainties about tomorrow, yet they still find the strength to encourage others. Not because they have all the answers, but because they understand the value of kindness and support.
Before you conclude that no one understands your pain, remember that there are people who have walked through storms you know nothing about. The fact that they do not talk about their struggles does not mean they do not have any. Some choose to carry their cross quietly so they do not become a burden to others or discourage those who look up to them.
A listening ear, a kind word, and a little patience can go a long way. We are all fighting different battles at different levels. Therefore, let us be slow to judge, quick to show compassion, and willing to support one another.
The strongest people are not always those without problems; they are often those who continue to lift others while carrying their own burdens.
Let love lead.
