Henry's POV.
Today was like every other normal day. I woke up by 6:30 AM and I reluctantly went to the shower. Ugh, Monday mornings are the worst. I showered, brushed my teeth, dried and styled my hair, got dressed and went downstairs. When I went downstairs, I saw mom in the kitchen preparing our breakfast.
Henry: Morning mom.
Mom: Morning Henry. How was your night?
Henry: It was splendid.
Mom: Where's your sister?
Henry: I don't know. Maybe she's..... "Moooooom!"
Piper screamed as she came downstairs.
Henry: Ah, there she is.
Piper: Mom, I am not okay.
Henry: You have never, ever, been okay.
Piper: Nyeeeeeeh!
Henry: Nyeeeeeh!
Mom: What is it, Piper?
Piper: Mom, you have to let me skip school today.
Mom: Well, you could have said good morning first.
Piper: Oh, sorry. Good morning, Mom. She said with a dubious smile.
Mom: Good Morning, baby. How are you?
Piper: I'm cool. So, can I please skip school today?
Henry: Why'd you wanna skip sch........
Piper: HEY! I WAS TALKING TO MOM! She yells.
Henry: Okay, okay. I say while raising my hands with my palms facing forward.
Piper: So Mom, can I?
Mom: Why'd you wanna skip school?
Piper: Because, my dumb friend Marla always teases me and calls me a dirty street rag because of this nasty pimple on my face.
Mom: Which pimple?
Piper: Look, it's right here.
*Piper shows Mom her pimple*
Mom: It's not that bad honey.
Piper: So, that means that I can't skip school today?
Mom: I'm sorry baby, but No.
Piper: Come on. Henry, can you please speak to mom for me?
Henry: I can......... But, I won't.
Piper: Why?
Henry: Well, that's because I feel like you don't respect me enough. And I think I
deserve more respect from you.
Piper: Respect? What kind of respect?
Henry: Well, you can start by telling me good morning.
Piper: Fine, good morning.
Henry: Wait, you actually said it?
*Piper steps on my foot with all her strength*
Henry: Mmmm, I should have seen that coming.
Mom: That's enough kids. Come and sit so we can eat.
We all sat down and started to eat because mom had already dished our food. While we were eating, dad came downstairs all dressed for work.
Dad: I have really bad news.
Piper: You swallowed your car keys again?
Dad: No, even worse..... Wait.....*he checked his pockets and brought out his keys*....
Phew. No.
Mom: What's wrong?
Dad: Well, you remember my brother Jackson, right?
Mom: Yeah?
Dad: Well, last night, I was watching the news...... With my pants on..... And I got a call from my brother. He said that his wife has to undergo surgery in Croatia due to the holes in her heart.
Henry: Oh My God. I hope she's okay?
Dad: She is, for now.
Piper: This is really sad.
Dad: But, on the bright side, because they don't know how long the trip will take, they will be sending your cousin Ryan over to stay with us.
Piper: Oh My God. Ryan's coming over?
Henry: We haven't seen him in like, forever.
Mom: Yes, but it's sad to know that it's a bad reason that brought him here. But
anyways, you all should eat up else you'll all be late. We ate up and we went to school.
When school was over, I went to the Man cave with Jasper and Charlotte. When we entered, Ray was doing something on the Man's nest computers.
Henry: Yo, what's happening?
Ray: Oh, Henry, Charlotte, Jasper. Good to see you guys.
Charlotte: Good to see you too.
Jasper: Hello Boss.
Ray: Hi Jasper. He said bluntly.
Henry: Charlotte, can we start our homework now?
Charlotte: Oh, I'm already done with mine.
Henry: I'm also done.
Charlotte: Really?
Henry: Uhhh, yeah Charlotte. I'm smart too, you know.
*We brought out our books*
Charlotte: Okay, so what did you get for number one in Physics?
Henry: Errrr, What'd you get?
Charlotte: I got an A.

*I ticked her answer in my book*
Charlotte: What did you get for number two?
Henry: Errrr, What'd you get?
Charlotte: I got a C.
Henry: I also got a C.
*I ticked her answer in my book*
Henry: So what did you get for number 3?
Charlotte: Y.
Henry: Yeah,I also got a... Wait, I'm sorry, Y?
Charlotte: Yeah, Y are you copying me?
Henry: Pffff, what! I'm not copying you.
Charlotte: Y are you lying.
Henry: Well, you can't blame me. I didn't even understand a word when our teacher
was teaching. So, can I please copy your homework?
Charlotte: Ugh! Fine. Whatever.
Jasper: Well, if anyone needs me, I'll be in the gas station toilet on the next street.
Charlotte: We have a bathroom here. Why go there?
Jasper: It doesn't matter.
Charlotte: Do you wanna steal a bucket?

He said as he went out using the elevators. I walked up to Charlotte with my book.
Henry: Yo, Char. I'm done copying your physics homework.
Charlotte: So?
Henry: I'm ready to copy your chemistry homework.
Charlotte: You know, one day, we're gonna get in trouble for this.
Henry: Nah, Miss Shapen will never find out. And if she does, were just gonna bribe
her with a date with Captain Man.
Ray: No way. There is absolutely no way I'm going on a date with your weird hunch backed, chicken loving teacher.
Henry: I know, I was just kidding.
*Ray calms down*
Henry: I was not kidding.
*I whispered in Charlotte's ear as she giggled lightly*
Henry: Oh, no. I almost forgot. My cousin's coming over today. I have to go now.
Ray: Hey, Whoa. What if an emergency call comes in when you're gone?
Henry: Then, you blow a bubble and handle it.

Henry: Charlotte can you please E-mail me the answers.
Charlotte: Fine. Whatever.
Henry: Thanks.
I packed my stuff as I went to the tubes and it propelled me upwards. When I got home, I saw only mom and Piper.
Mom: Henry, Where have you been?
Henry: I've been down at Junk "N" Stuff with Charlotte. Where's Ryan?
Piper: Dad went to pick him up from the airport. They'll be here any second?
Almost immediately, Ryan enters with his luggage and my dad trailed behind him.
Mom: How are you, Ryan?
Ryan: I'm fine, Mrs Siren. It's nice to meet you again.
*She hugs him*
Piper: Hello Ryan. How've you been?
Ryan: I've been good. Thank you.
*She hugs him*
Henry: Yo Couz.
Ryan: Henryyyyy!
*We did our secret handshake*
Henry: (laughs). Oh, wow. You still remember.
Ryan: Yeah. How could I forget?
Henry: It's funny cos we made that when we were eight.
Ryan: I don't forget easily.
Mom: Ryan, we heard what happened to your Mom.
Ryan: Yeah. (His smile slowly changes to a sad face)
Mom: Don't worry. She'll be fine. I'm sure she will.
Ryan: Thanks Aunt Siren.
Mom: I made some poutine for you. I heard it's the most famous fish in Canada so I made it for you because, I want you to have a feel of home here in Swellview.
Ryan: Poutine? That's my favourite. How did you know?
Mom: It was a lucky guess.
Ryan: Thank you so much, aunt.
Mom: You're welcome. Come on. Come and eat.
Ryan went over to eat his meal. I took his stuff upstairs for him so that I can put it in the guest's room.
