GRACE IS NOT A LICENSE TO SIN! THE DANGEROUS DECEPTION THAT IS LEADING MANY PEOPLE AWAY FROM THE TRUTH

One of the greatest misunderstandings in Christianity today is the belief that because God is gracious, a believer can continue living in deliberate sin without repentance.

Many people say:

"God understands."

"We are under grace."

"Nobody is perfect."

"Jesus has already paid for all my sins."

While it is true that salvation is by grace through faith, many have twisted God's grace into permission to live however they please. The Bible warns that this deception is spiritually dangerous.

The Apostle Paul asked one of the most important questions in Scripture:

"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?"

His answer was immediate and unmistakable:

"Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?"
(Romans 6:1–2)

Grace was never given to excuse sin.

Grace was given to free us from the power of sin.

Before Christ, sin was our master.

After Christ, Jesus becomes our Lord.

If a person claims to know Christ but deliberately chooses a lifestyle of unrepentant sin without conviction, without repentance, and without any desire to change, that person should honestly examine whether they have truly experienced the new birth.

This does not mean Christians never sin.

Every believer battles the flesh.

Every believer has weaknesses.

Sometimes believers stumble.

The difference is this:

A true believer does not become comfortable living in sin.

When they fall, they are convicted by the Holy Spirit, they repent sincerely, and they seek God's strength to continue walking in righteousness.

The unbeliever enjoys sin.

The true believer grieves over sin.

There is a dangerous teaching spreading across the world that says:

"You can live any lifestyle you want because God's grace covers everything."

That is not the gospel preached by Jesus, the apostles, or the early Church.

Jude gave this warning:
