✨ THE FIRST TIME NIGERIANS CALLED ME ENGINEER, I NEARLY LOST MY DESTINY 😂

Some time ago. As an apprentice , my boss left a site for me to handle because my hand don strong. From start to finish, I was the one giving instructions. And you know Nigerians — once you’re the one in charge, you automatically become “Engineer.” Even the client sef, if na him dey give orders, they go still call am Engineer.

That hype got to my head. I started behaving like a big man, buying pure water for workers, forming boss. I thought I had arrived.

By the time we reached roofing stage, money don enter my hand. Guess what? In less than one week, I was broke. I didn’t save, I didn’t invest.

The most painful part? I started laying blocks to survive. Imagine “Engineer” wey dey give orders yesterday, now dey struggle block with the same people he was commanding. Chai! ENGINEER 😅.
