The dream feels big — mastering roles, creating stories that touch souls, building teams, and breaking through. But one simple truth keeps me going:
“One of the easiest ways to achieve a vision is to imitate.”
Imitation isn’t mindless copying; it’s humble learning. I study legends like Ramsey Nouah, Genevieve Nnaji, Kunle Afolayan, and Mo Abudu — not to mimic, but to absorb their discipline, craft, and fearless storytelling. In acting, we imitate life; in producing, we imitate excellence until it becomes our own.
As a Christian, though, the greatest imitation is of Christ. Ephesians 5:1–2 urges us:
“Follow God’s example… and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us…”
To imitate Jesus is to infuse every script and scene with love, redemption, and hope. It refines my unique voice without erasing it.
Imitate the Master
I watch the masters light the silver screen,
Their craft a path to dreams I long to chase.
