I got this one from the stellar artist Syntax Erika (born Mexico, now Barcelona), who has a grimy, humming humdinger of a pulsing track on there. This sonic postcard carries the vivid experience of being inside the jungle signal; surrounded, saturated, fully awake.

A transmission from the equatorial jungle,
captured at altitude: humidity, pressure, signal.

Field recordings: hyper-loud cicadas, encoded bird calls, monkeys moving like glitches across the jungle.

A dense bio-network breathing in real time.

Nous voilà de retour dans l’antiformatisation !!
Un volume 12, 23 participants, 24 univers, 24 terrains d’expérimentations, 24 images.
Quelques nouveaux venus comme pour chaque volume, des retours et des habitués sont au rendez vous pour cette cuvée 2025/2026..
Je remercie tout les artistes pour leurs dévouements et leurs créativités à mettre en oeuvre ce volume 12,
ainsi que les 165 artistes, depuis le premier volume pour représenter l’antiformatisation !

The POOL Berlin invited me to do it years ago, and honestly I’ve always loved what they do and the energy behind their project.
