A warm welcome to all parents of SJKT Kulaijaya
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to the launch of our SJKT-KB website. This is the first time since the inception of the PIBG and the result of the continuous efforts of a dedicated group of PIBG Committee members in making this possible.
The establishment of this website will enable all members of the public, especially parents and students of the school in being updated with the latest happenings concerning the school as well as using this website as an interactive tool between parents and the school administrators. It is my fervent hope that this will create a better understanding between both parties and providing greater support for the PIBG to carry out its duties.
The PIBG’s existence has always been to look after the interests of our children in the school. We, as parents, need to pay greater attention to our children’s educational growth in order for them to be successful adults. This has to be done in concert with the teachers, who should be given the freedom to educate them in accordance with education disciplines and guidelines as stipulated under the Government’s education policy. For this, my advice is “Let us do the parenting; let the teachers do the teaching.”
Today, the PIBG faces many challenges. We need an environment whereby parents provide total support for the PIBG to carry out its activities. The PIBG has an annual mandate from parents to act using the best judgments deemed fit and parents should refrain from bringing up petty or personal issues that do not benefit the school as a whole. However, parents can provide constructive ideas as well as being objective.
In today’s environment, technology plays an important role in terms of development. The success of our school in having its own website puts the school among the ranks of developed schools in our state. Let us make use of this website for the betterment of the school and our children. It is an avenue for all to bring about further development and achievements.
I would also like to thank various parties in making this website launch possible. Firstly,to the staff and students of the school for their assistance and contributions, and last but not least, to all parents of the PIBG for their continuous support over the years.
