Take that one simple step. It won’t solve the problem but it will give you a clearer plan about what you’re doing.
-Awkwafina

I suppose sometimes that one simple step looks like penning down scattered shower thoughts soon as you‘re out of the bathroom because writing a whole perfect paragraph may never happen (looking at the perfectionists).

Sometimes it’s whipping out your phone to record the tune that’s been in your head all day because the greatest hits almost always start with a simple tune.

And sometimes, that simple step looks like hitting the record button again, documenting the things that matter. Take one simple step today, working with the ‘why’ to discover the ‘what’. :) This is my Prince Ea reminder to myself today.

Choosing gratitude and depositing laughters to revisit them here in the near future.

Dad turned 70 last month and I’m glad we got to celebrate this milestone despite our bumps and irregularities as a family.

Thank You for another year. :)

For the car enthusiasts, here is my first mini off-road driving experience with WapCar!

What can I say, wow I’m SO BARUUUU at this. 😅

Happy Independence Day. 🇲🇾 Still much to be done working towards being a developed nation. We’ve come a long way from exercising our democratic rights and must still keep persevering to protect it.

I was along Karpal Singh Drive this past weekend attempting a morning jog. Exiting my car, I was greeted by the painful sight of Friday night party trash around benches lining the streets. It starts with us. The mindset. Every used tissue/trash that is kept or disposed to the right place brings us a step closer to being a better Malaysia. It starts with us because we each carry influence. I always fear being confrontational when I see people throwing tissues out of the car window/into the drain. Maybe they were just never educated well but it starts with us.

The best infrastructures and most beautiful beaches won’t last if we can’t steward our resources well. There’s so many things that could be better and it’s good to keep fighting for that better Malaysia, however if may look for your day-to-day.

Maybe it’s standing up against a casual racist remark, raising the bar in the industry you’re in or simply taking good care of the public toilet. Every little action matters. :) @ Penang Island

Sharing with you something new I’ve been apart of on some days! Something totally new so it’ll be from a learning perspective. It is... CAR reviews! 🤣🚙 🚗

The first episode with from .my is out on their YouTube channel where Adrian and I took the Proton Iriz for a drive to Jimmy’s Durian Orchard.

I’ve been a (proud) Myvi driver for as long as I can remember so jumping on this was new and fun! Head over to WapCar’s YouTube channel to watch the full review!

Looking forward to learning more with upcoming episodes, let us know if you have a car in mind that you’d like to review!

7pm reminders. The simple things in life. May we never forget how much we have. Not of what’s in our pocket. I’m talking cutleries to consume our next meal, towel to wipe dry, water from a readily running tap, shelter from the unpredictable weather, permission to fail, grace to spare and the list goes on. It’s a pretty extensive list if we took some time to identify.

The battles we’re put to face each day is insurmountable today. Maybe each generation would have mountains to climb. I think sometimes, I get mentally desensitised to thinking that it’s normal to keep evaluating and planning for what’s next. How much runway do we have to sustain, how can we grow meaning and purpose, what if the current plan turns out a blunder? Not that it’s wrong but man, life would be pretty demanding and stressful if we’re wired to always think security and survival. I guess, I just wanted to place a little visual reminder here for the days ahead.

Take some risks, have a little faith and know that wherever you end up, there is a Father above ready to break your fall.

7pm reminders are everywhere, and I found mine in the bathroom today. 🙂

Two of my favourite things in a photo. That’s going up on the feed for sure. :)

4pm, Thursday.

“Hello, what are you up to?” “In front of my computer.” “Great, I’m at the traffic light, let’s go out to discuss some work stuff.”

In hindsight, I’m glad it wasn’t work but ice cream! Thank you for being my balance when I’m in tunnel vision.

Such a pleasant surprise to be discovering one of my favourite gelato places .my launching in SU-BANG!! So hepi to see more and more great vendors opening up in Subang. No need to travel to peejay as often!

They have just opened yesterday! You know where to find good (and value-for-money) gelatos - SS 18! Swipe to the end for location reference. First 50 customers will receive complimentary coffee drip packs from .co!

Side note, is opening in SS 15 today!! 🥰

Cafe food aren’t quite something we have much but you gotta know what‘s out there too!

Placing this here to remember the day I browsed and ordered from my phone. Future Fel might not find this as amusing but hey, one for the 2020 books. Also, this was a pretty good big breakfast, well portioned. 7/10.

Making pasta from scratch is actually quite therapeutic and fun... when you have an excellent head chef to make sure the first part of buying and mixing as well as the last part of boiling and frying are all done.

I was only there to guling-guling the dough. You could probably already guess who the head chef is. 😜

Well, I made salad (swipe to the end). Hehe.

A few quick shots from our rare day out. We had our first dine-in experience since the MCO started this past weekend. :) Definitely miss the days where outdoor adventures didn’t require so many considerations.

I’ve been challenged to think what ‘home’ could look beyond the physical roof over my head. Maybe ‘home’ is what we make of it to be at every point of the journey.

This past weekend, I found home in the memories we relive when the going gets tough. I know it hasn’t been the smoothest ride, so thank you for choosing love above all, each time.
