7pm reminders. The simple things in life. May we never forget how much we have. Not of what’s in our pocket. I’m talking cutleries to consume our next meal, towel to wipe dry, water from a readily running tap, shelter from the unpredictable weather, permission to fail, grace to spare and the list goes on. It’s a pretty extensive list if we took some time to identify.
The battles we’re put to face each day is insurmountable today. Maybe each generation would have mountains to climb. I think sometimes, I get mentally desensitised to thinking that it’s normal to keep evaluating and planning for what’s next. How much runway do we have to sustain, how can we grow meaning and purpose, what if the current plan turns out a blunder? Not that it’s wrong but man, life would be pretty demanding and stressful if we’re wired to always think security and survival. I guess, I just wanted to place a little visual reminder here for the days ahead.
Take some risks, have a little faith and know that wherever you end up, there is a Father above ready to break your fall.
7pm reminders are everywhere, and I found mine in the bathroom today. 🙂
