This year we had students joining us from Maldives 🇲🇻, Bangladesh 🇧🇩, Angola 🇦🇴 and Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. Coming up next, we’ll be welcoming one student from Mauritius 🇲🇺 and another from Canada 🇨🇦.

For a small classroom tucked away on the 9th floor of a condominium in Kuala Lumpur, that’s quite unbelievable if you ask me 😅.

Thank you for choosing Uncle Kelvin as your friendly neighbourhood royal icing mentor. I’m genuinely grateful to be part of your sugarcraft journey and honoured that you would travel all this way to learn from me.

These royal icing pavilions are entirely hand-piped and assembled using royal icing — delicate, intricate, yet surprisingly strong when kept dry.

Whether used as a wedding cake topper, centerpiece, or simply displayed as a collectible piece, they bring a timeless elegance that reminds me why I fell in love with royal icing 18 years ago 🤍

Every tiny scroll, lattice and filigree detail is piped individually with patience (and probably eye power sacrificed along the way 🫠).
