About the show
is a slang that is widely used by Sabahans. It translates to “stupid joke” however, Sabahans often use it as an expression that means “so funny!”. The word “buduh” is commonly used to express a multitude of feelings. It can be used when you are furious, sad, or even when you are ecstatic, and many more!
The main objective of this event is to introduce our local comedians and to provide a platform for them to showcase their talent.
stand-up comedy will not only have our local comedy acts but will also feature Sabahan celebrities and social media influencers. Our previous stand-up comedy show was held in Nook Cafe, starring Sakinah, Aunty Patrin, Dan Darby and Bawah Kulung Crew (Darell & Gotong).

Bawah Kulung Crew is made up of Alfonso D Adam and Darell De Anthony; a local Sabahan comedian duo. They hail from Ranau and have been actively involved in multiple events as master of ceremonies. Being the entertaining, witty and spontaneous people that they are, they took a leap of faith and started their stand-up comedy journey back in 2018 during the first show in Nook Cafe. They are back now to help you wind down by laughing out loud.
This show is hosted by Maldini Sidney, a Sabahan singer and rapper.

Theory by Bed Industry is a local bar located at Damai Point, Kota Kinabalu. It opens at 3pm until late. It is the best place to enjoy our local live bands in the company of your friends and family for an Aramaitii session! Come early for happy hour drinks and to secure great seats.
