This amulet represents the legendary master Luang Phor Sod (fully titled Phra Mongkolthepmuni, 1884–1959) the former abbot of [Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen](wikipedia.org Thai Wikipedia) in Bangkok. He is highly revered across Southeast Asia as the master who discovered and revived the ancient Dhammakaya meditation method.

While the statuette is made in the likeness of Luang Phor Sod, this specific amulet is the 1st Batch Mini Statuette (Roop Lor รุ่น 1) created and blessed in October 2533 BE (1990 AD)

It was consecrated by his direct prominent disciple, Luang Por Sermchai (also affectionately known as Luang Pa), the first abbot of Wat Luang Phor Sod Dhammakayaram in Ratchaburi Province. It was distributed to raise funds during the construction of the temple's main ordination hall
