Harry came from Nogalito, a tiny rescued soul no bigger than a trembling handful—meowing softly, coated in mud, and burdened with fleas. The moment his rescuer stepped out of the car, Harry’s life changed forever. He was safe. He was home.

For twelve beautiful years in Puerto Vallarta, Harry lived a gentle life filled with sunlit gardens, fluttering bugs, and the quiet companionship of his sibling cats. Though he struggled with a chronic bowel condition, his owner never once gave up on him—navigating special diets, endless cleanups, and sleepless nights with unwavering love.

When Harry’s little body could no longer carry him—when standing became too hard, eating too tiring, and even breathing began to fade—his owner understood the heartbreaking truth. On his final day, Harry was cradled in kindness, resting on his favorite blanket, wrapped in all the love he had ever known. He was guided peacefully to join his siblings on the rainbow ridge, where pain no longer followed him.

Afterward, Harry was cremated, and his owner discovered a remarkable artisan who transforms ashes into jewelry, stained-glass figures, and other tender keepsakes—beautiful ways to hold a loved one close forever. In a tiny shop on Aquiles Serdán, Harry’s ashes were honored with a small, heartfelt ceremony before being placed in an urn, soon to become an eternal piece of art.

You are still here, Harry. Always......

Ashes to Art was born from a moment of quiet observation and deep personal reflection. Nicole Martin, a dear friend of the artist, had long admired the intricate stained glass creations, delicate antique restorations, and exquisite handcrafted jewelry—each piece a testament to craftsmanship, fire, and transformation. The studio, alive with the glow of kilns and the shimmer of molten glass and resin, became a space of inspiration.
After the passing of her beloved mother in 2012, Nicole struggled to find a place worthy of holding her ashes—something meaningful, beautiful, and enduring. And then, the idea took form.
Nicole entrusted Jasmin with a small antique china container containing some of her mother Debbie Martin’s ashes. With reverence and artistry, Jasmin set out to create a ring unlike any other—one that would honor Debbie’s spirit. Knowing Debbie’s deep love for the jungle, Nicole requested that the piece reflect the vibrant greens of nature.
Jasmiapproached the work with care and respect, understanding the emotional weight of what she was crafting. When the final piece was presented, it was more than just jewelry—it was memory made tangible. Overcome with emotion, both women were moved to tears. It was a moment of profound beauty, healing, and connection.

Paris was discovered as a newborn kitten, trembling and silent in the shadows of a garbage can — an unlikely place for a queen to begin her reign. Her rescuers had just returned from the City of Light, and so they named her Paris, as if to grant her a second birth — one of beauty, wonder, and storybook beginnings.

Tiny and frail, she was bottle-fed with reverence and raised like royalty. Though petit from early malnourishment, she grew into a magnificent creature — all silken fur and imperious eyes — a regal soul wrapped in the body of a cat. She was a diva in the truest sense, fierce in her affections and unapologetically herself, often swatting her fur brothers aside as she claimed her rightful place on the throne — the highest perch, the warmest lap, the softest blanket.

Paris lived a long, enchanted life — adored, spoiled, and entirely in command of her kingdom. She was a royal terror, a beloved tyrant, a source of endless laughter and quiet comfort.

When she passed, the heart of the house dimmed.

Her family — including two young children who had never known life without her — held a flower ceremony in her honor. They wrote her love letters, whispered their goodbyes, and wrapped her in memory. Her ashes were kept close, like the last breath of a dream.

Now, they search for something white — something ethereal — a piece of jewelry or a charm to hang in the window. Something magical, that catches the morning light and shimmers like her spirit still walks the halls. A small beacon, a soft promise, so that Paris — ever the queen — will never truly leave them.

An eternal memory, transformed into art.

Losing a pet is like losing a member of the family. Their companionship, their tenderness, and those unique moments they gave us deserve to be remembered with love, not sadness.

That's why we've created a special process: encapsulating your pet's ashes in glass fused at 800 degrees Celsius. This creates a perfect capsule, resistant to the passage of time, that protects and preserves their essence forever.

The most beautiful thing is that this memory isn't just a keepsake: it becomes a unique and personalized piece of art that you can always keep by your side. A work that shines with the light of the love your pet gave you, and that keeps their presence alive in your home and in your heart.

Let their memory be eternal, not in a forgotten urn, but in a jewel of art that honors the joy of their companionship.

Harry was found as a tiny, fragile kitten in Nogalito—alone, small, and too vulnerable to be left behind. His new family couldn't bear to walk away. He spent nine gentle years nestled in a home in Conchas Chinas, surrounded by other cats and quiet moments.
Harry was a tender soul, never one to quarrel with his siblings. Though he suffered from Crohn’s disease and required constant care, his owner, Delores, never wavered. She accepted every challenge with grace, her love for Harry never dimming, even when things were hard.
That first Christmas, she made him a miniature tree—just for him—a small gesture that held so much love.
Now, Harry is no longer beside her, but his memory lingers, delicate and enduring. He will live on as a piece of loving art, a quiet presence for the whole family to remember—a reminder of a gentle companion, deeply loved and dearly missed.

Cremation vs. Burial
Cremation and burial represent two fundamentally different approaches to the disposition of human remains, each carrying its own cultural, spiritual, and practical implications. Cremation entails the incineration of the body, resulting in ashes that may be scattered, interred, or preserved in an urn. Burial, by contrast, involves placing the body in a casket or coffin and laying it to rest in the earth. The decision between cremation and burial is often shaped by personal convictions, religious doctrines, financial considerations, and environmental concerns.

Reflection on Mortality
At memorial services, one often hears the solemn phrase, "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust." This expression echoes the sentiment found in Genesis 3:19, where God tells Adam, “For dust you are, and to dust you shall return.” Though not a direct biblical quotation, the phrase captures the essence of the scriptural view on mortality—underscoring humanity’s return to the earth and the cyclical nature of life and death.
