As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe that the Resurrection is a gift made possible through Jesus Christ. Because He overcame death through His Resurrection, every person who has ever lived will also rise again with a perfected and immortal body.

We believe that after the Resurrection, all people will stand before Jesus Christ to be judged. The Savior knows each of us perfectly—our thoughts, desires, choices, struggles, and the kind of person we chose to become throughout our lives.

The Final Judgment will be both just and merciful. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can repent, be forgiven, and receive grace. Our eternal glory will depend on our faith in Jesus Christ, our willingness to follow Him, and the choices we made while on earth.

We believe that God desires for His children to inherit eternal joy and return to live in His presence. Through Jesus Christ, the Resurrection and eternal life are possible for all mankind.

As disciples of Jesus Christ, we believe that the gospel is meant to bless all people throughout the world. That is why thousands of missionaries leave their homes and families to serve the Lord and share a message of hope, faith, and salvation.

Missionaries teach about Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon, the restoration of the gospel, and the love God has for each of His children. Their purpose is not to force anyone to believe, but to invite people to come closer to Christ.

Many young men and women serve missions with sacrifice and love. They dedicate their time to helping, serving, and teaching, even in unfamiliar places far from home. We believe that missionary service changes lives, both for those who hear the message and for those who share it.

Missionaries are witnesses that Jesus Christ lives and that His restored gospel can bring true peace and happiness to individuals and families.

The Final Judgment is the time when every person will stand before Jesus Christ and be judged according to their choices, desires, and actions in this life. We believe that the Savior, who knows our hearts perfectly, will judge with complete justice, compassion, and mercy.

It will be a sacred moment of truth where we will recognize who we became through our decisions and how we responded to God’s guidance. Jesus Christ understands every pain, trial, sacrifice, and sincere effort we made during our mortal journey.

Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, there is hope for all of us. We believe that through repentance and faith in Him, we can receive forgiveness, peace, and the opportunity to return to live in the presence of God.

There are moments when the heart needs to speak with someone who truly understands our pain, dreams, and doubts. We believe that prayer is that direct bridge to our Heavenly Father.

Through prayer we can give thanks, ask for help, find comfort, and feel peace even during the hardest trials. It does not matter if our words are simple; God hears sincere prayers that come from the heart.

Jesus Christ taught us how to pray and gave the perfect example of communicating with the Father. When we pray with faith, we invite the Holy Ghost into our lives and feel guidance, strength, and hope.

Many times answers come in small and quiet ways: a feeling of peace, an idea, an impression in the heart, or simply the strength to keep moving forward. Prayer reminds us that we are never alone.

The Restoration of the Gospel is the process through which God reestablished His Church on the earth with divine authority and the original truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that after the death of the ancient apostles, many teachings and sacred ordinances were changed or lost over time.

However, God never stopped loving or guiding His children. In 1820, Joseph Smith, a young man searching for truth, prayed in faith to know which church was correct. In answer to that prayer, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him, beginning the Restoration of the gospel in the latter days.

Over time, the priesthood was restored, the Book of Mormon came forth, and the Church of Jesus Christ was organized again upon the earth. Today, we believe that the restored gospel continues to bless individuals and families throughout the world.

As Latter-day Saints, we believe that temples are the house of the Lord and one of the holiest places on earth. There we make covenants with God, feel peace, and draw closer to Jesus Christ.

Unlike chapels where we worship every Sunday, temples are special places dedicated to sacred ordinances such as eternal marriage and baptism for the dead. We believe that families can be together forever through the blessings of the temple.

Inside the temple we feel a peace different from the world. It is a place where we can step away from the noise, receive spiritual guidance, and remember what truly matters. Temples also remind us that God has an eternal plan for each of His children.

Every temple is a symbol of hope, faith, and preparation to return to the presence of our Heavenly Father.

As Latter-day Saints, we believe that the Restoration of the gospel began when Joseph Smith sincerely sought to know which Church of Jesus Christ was true. In faith, he prayed to God and received a sacred answer: Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him to begin restoring truth once again upon the earth.

We believe that through the Restoration, God brought back priesthood authority, the original teachings of the gospel, prophets, and sacred ordinances just as they existed in the Church established by Jesus Christ in ancient times.

Because of the Restoration, we have the Book of Mormon, living prophets, temples, and sacred covenants that help individuals and families draw closer to God and prepare for eternal life.

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe that Jesus Christ is the literal Son of God and the Savior of the world. He is the center of the gospel and the perfect example we should follow.

Jesus Christ came to earth to teach us true love, heal the afflicted, and give His life for us. Through His sacrifice in Gethsemane and on the cross, we can repent, change, and find peace even during the hardest moments.

We believe that on the third day He rose again gloriously, overcoming death so that all of us may live again. He lives today, knows us personally, and never leaves alone those who place their faith in Him.

Following Jesus Christ does not mean being perfect; it means trusting Him every day and allowing His light to transform our hearts.
