From meeting in Guatemala to drawing elephants together! ✨ We finally got to connect in person with the awesome Eduardo Marticorena Eduardo Marticorena during a Central American children’s literature gathering. Eduardo is an incredibly talented illustrator from El Salvador, and he’s the creative mind behind the drawings in our bilingual board book One Elephant / Un Elefante with Scholastic ! 🐘🕷️

It’s one thing to see your characters finished on the page, but watching the artist bring them to life from scratch right in front of you is pure magic.

¡De encontrarnos en Guatemala a dibujar elefantes juntos! ✨ Por fin pudimos conocernos en persona con el genial Eduardo Marticorena durante un encuentro de literatura infantil centroamericana. Eduardo es un ilustrador súper talentoso de El Salvador, y es el artista detrás de los dibujos de nuestro libro bilingüe One Elephant / Un Elefante con Scholastic! 🐘🕷️

Una cosa es ver a tus personajes terminados en las páginas del libro, pero ver al artista darles vida desde cero e improvisando en un papel frente a tus ojos es otra magia completamente diferente.

We had an amazing time in Guatemala for FILGUA! 🇬🇹📚 One of the absolute highlights was performing a show for school groups—the energy from the kids was everything. 🎶✨

It was so special connecting with young audiences, and catching up with readers, authors, and publishers who share a love for books and culture. Heading back home inspired, grateful, and full of great memories. Thank you to everyone who made this trip so special! ❤️

¡Gracias al maestro Enmanuel Rocha Vergara por el video tan bacano! Visítenlo para ver su arte 🖼️

We have a deep, personal soft spot for educators, and for us, that word goes way beyond a traditional classroom. ❤️

Both of our moms dedicated their lives to helping kids grow. Andrés’ mom taught high school, and Christina’s mom worked as a nanny. She didn’t have the chance to get a professional degree, but she was a total natural. She was so passionate about making sure the little ones under her care were learning and thriving.

It taught us early on that caregivers are a true extension of the family, teaching toddlers so many foundational things before they ever step into a school.

Because of them, we are so incredibly grateful whenever we get to perform for teachers and caregivers. Every time you share a story about how your kids or students are learning and singing along with our music, it seriously keeps us going.

Thank you for the love you pour into the next generation every single day! 🎶🍎

Yesterday marked the International Day of Play, an important right for every child. We were so glad to be invited by UNICEF and to join in on this celebration. Making music for families is a beautiful path, and it’s a real pleasure to collaborate with teams dedicated to supporting and caring for children worldwide. Play is truly the best way to connect and learn together. 🎹❤️

Ayer se celebró el Día Internacional del Juego, un derecho muy importante para cada niño y niña. Nos dio mucha alegría recibir la invitación de UNICEF y para sumarnos a esta celebración. Hacer música para las familias es un trabajo hermoso, y es un gusto enorme poder colaborar con equipos que se dedican a cuidar y apoyar a la infancia en todo el mundo. El juego es la mejor manera de conectar y aprender juntos. 🎹❤️
