Cheech Marin has officially been selected to receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star as part of the Class of 2027, recognizing his incredible impact on comedy, film, and entertainment.
Best known as one half of the legendary Cheech & Chong duo, Marin helped shape comedy in the 1970s with unforgettable stand-up performances and classics like Up in Smoke. Over the years, he has also built an impressive career as an actor, voice artist, author, and one of the strongest advocates for Chicano art and culture.
Cheech Marin and his longtime comedy partner Tommy Chong will receive a shared Hollywood Walk of Fame star, celebrating the lasting legacy they created together and the influence they've had on generations of fans. The official ceremony date has not yet been announced.
