Three lights. Three completely different looks. 💡📸

One of my favorite things to teach is that creating portraits isn’t about having more gear—it’s about knowing how to shape light.

At the Creative Collective Summer Social, I challenged everyone to see how one setup can become three unique images simply by changing the lighting. The goal wasn’t just to recreate these looks—it was to understand why they work so you can apply the techniques to your own shoots.

Huge thanks to StrixStudios for having me and to everyone who joined the workshop. I hope these images inspire you to experiment, push your creativity, and remember that the best work happens when creatives come together as a community.

Behind the scenes from an incredible day at the Creative Collective Summer Social. 🙌

Nothing beats getting creatives in one room to learn, create, and inspire each other. Community is where ideas grow.

I had the opportunity to teach a workshop where we created 3 completely different looks using just 3 lights, showing how small lighting changes can completely transform an image.

A huge thank you to StrixStudio for having me and for bringing together such an amazing community of photographers, filmmakers, and creators. And thank you to everyone who came out, asked questions, and made this event so much fun.
