Launched by ZeeArts Gallery in collaboration with the UN - UAE, with primary aim is to educate, engage and empower local artists to make a global impact.

SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
Artist : Kaltham Belselah
Country: United Arab Emirates

Artist Biography:
Kaltham Belselah is an Emirati visual artist specializing in portraiture, primarily using oil on canvas and linen. She holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts (Portraiture) from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. Her work explores identity, heritage, and the representation of Arab women, blending classical techniques with contemporary perspectives. Kaltham has exhibited internationally across the UAE, Europe, and Asia, including London, Milan, Barcelona, Tokyo, and Naples. She has received notable awards such as the Award of Excellence in Japan and Artist of the Year in Florence. Her practice combines technical precision with research linking Renaissance aesthetics to contemporary Middle Eastern portraiture.

Artist : K**e Oyewale
Country: Nigeria

Artist Biography:
K**e Oyewale, is a Nigerian multidisciplinary visual artist born in Bwari, Abuja, and originally from Oyo State. She holds a degree in Education (Fine and Applied Arts) from the University of Benin. Her practice explores African culture, human experiences, and global impact, blending traditional and contemporary techniques. K**e has exhibited widely, including LIMCAF Abuja and Benin regional exhibitions, where she was a Top 100 finalist. Her portfolio also includes the Azura Edo Art Campaign, Made in Nigeria Exhibition, Busan International Festival, and major group exhibitions across Abuja and Lagos, reflecting her dynamic and evolving artistic journey.

Artist : Mouna Fersi Seghir
Country: Tunisia

Artist Biography:
Mouna Fersi Seghir is a visual artist, painter, and sculptor whose work celebrates humanity, light, and poetry. With over 20 years in abstract art, her international journey across France, Portugal, Lebanon, Egypt, and the UAE informs a practice rooted in cultural diversity. Her vibrant compositions combine textured surfaces, recycled materials, metal, and bioplastics to explore themes of unity, love, peace, and harmony. Inspired by human relationships, nature, and music, her art radiates positive energy and spiritual depth. Exhibited globally, including at UNESCO Paris and the Carrousel du Louvre, she creates sustainable works that inspire hope and universal connection.

Renata Fernandez
Country: Venezuela I Spain

Artist Biography:
Renata Fernandez (b. 1971, Venezuela) is a multidisciplinary artist based in London since 2003. Her practice explores themes of immigration, identity, territory, and displacement, shaped by her experience as a Global South immigrant. Using appropriated social media imagery and personal references, Fernandez reconstructs fragmented memories and inhabited landscapes through emotionally charged, self-referential narratives. Rooted in journalism, social sciences, and theatre set design, her hand-intensive process emphasises materiality and experimentation. She studied Fine Art, painting, and sculpture at the Armando Reverón University Institute (UNEARTE), alongside Social Sciences, Media, and Drama-Set Design at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas. Fernandez collaborates internationally with galleries and curators, with works held in public and private collections across the UK, Europe, the USA, Canada, Taiwan, and Venezuela.

Artist : Zumrud Zeynalli
Country: Azerbaijan I UK

Artist Statement:
Zumrud Zeynalli is a contemporary artist born in Baku, Azerbaijan. who blends Eastern and Western cultures in her art that is also largely inspired by childhood fairy tales and symbols in carpets. She visited 90 countries, explored unreal parts of the world and different cultures. Coming from very caring family and society and moving to London, she has faced many challenges but learned how to become an independent woman. As a woman who works as General Manager in a large company in the competitive and male-dominated oil field in United Arab Emirates – she still got a chance to nurture her creative side and express herself through painting.

Artist: Hanouf ALMonaifi
Country: Kuwait

Artist Biography:
Hanouf Almonaifi is a Kuwaiti visual artist, researcher, and cultural practitioner specializing in art history and museum studies. She holds a Master’s degree from Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and has over 13 years of experience as a fine arts designer, educator, and advisor. She serves as an advisor and senior fine arts designer at Kuwait University and is actively engaged in international art and heritage networks, including UNESCO-affiliated initiatives. Appointed Ambassador of SDGs Through Arts in Kuwait in May 2025, she introduced the global initiative locally. Her work bridges art, cultural diplomacy, and social impact, fostering dialogue, identity, and transformation.

Artist : Marisol Grijalva
Country: Ecuador

Artist Biography:
Marisol Grijalva is a multidisciplinary artist born in Quito, Ecuador, now based in Greenwich, London, after living in Paris and Dubai. Her international journey and passion for travel inform a global artistic perspective enriched by diverse cultures. Working with vibrant colours, her style blends Arabic, Ibero-American, and European influences, spanning Realism, Symbolism, and Modern Art. At the core of her practice is the exploration of human nature, femininity, and self-awareness through a figurative and conceptual approach. Primarily focused on clay sculpture and 3D art, she is currently exploring resin. Her work has been exhibited internationally across London, Dubai, Venice, Amsterdam, Paris, and Brighton.

Artist Biography:
Zaahirah Muthy is a Mauritian-born artist, curator, and social entrepreneur based in Dubai for over 15 years. With over two decades of experience, she works at the intersection of art and impact, using creativity to advance the SDGs through ZeeArts Gallery.

As Founder of SDGs through Arts, she has built a global platform empowering artists and fostering cross-cultural exchange. Internationally awarded, her recognitions include honors from Italy, India, Mauritius, and France. Her mixed-media practice explores spirituality, identity, and nature, with works exhibited in over 25 countries. She has held seven solo exhibitions and curated more than 87 shows worldwide

Artist : Rosana Largo Rodriguez

Rosana Largo Rodríguez is an international artist, painter, and curator known for integrating art with science, literature, and education. Director of the Museum of Tales and Science in Paredes de Nava, she creates immersive projects that connect storytelling, heritage, and learning, with a focus on inclusion and the role of women in culture. Her work has been exhibited globally across Europe, the United States, and the Middle East, alongside collaborations with leading institutions. As European delegate of LABA International, she promotes cultural exchange worldwide. Awarded the Platinum Medal in Paris, her practice reflects hyperrealism, innovation, and a deep commitment to artistic excellence.

SDGs through Arts – Türkiye Art Residency

ZeeArts Gallery is proud to announce an exclusive Art Residency in Türkiye, organized in collaboration with and Paradise Consultants, under the esteemed patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye.

Taking place from 22–30 June at the prestigious Museum of Anatolian Civilizations in Ankara, this unique residency will bring together 17 international artists and 17 Turkish artists in a powerful cultural exchange.

Together, they will co-create 17 masterpieces, each inspired by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—using art as a universal language to spark dialogue, inspire change, and foster global collaboration.

This immersive experience offers:
• Cross-cultural artistic collaboration
• Engagement with Türkiye’s rich heritage and creative scene
• A platform to contribute to a global sustainability narrative through art
