Her work explores identity, heritage, and the representation of Arab women, blending classical techniques with contemporary perspectives. Kaltham has exhibited internationally across the UAE, Europe, and Asia, including London, Milan, Barcelona, Tokyo, and Naples. She has received notable awards such as the Award of Excellence in Japan and Artist of the Year in Florence. Her practice combines technical precision with research linking Renaissance aesthetics to contemporary Middle Eastern portraiture.

Artist Biography:
Renata Fernandez (b. 1971, Venezuela) is a multidisciplinary artist based in London since 2003. Her practice explores themes of immigration, identity, territory, and displacement, shaped by her experience as a Global South immigrant. Using appropriated social media imagery and personal references, Fernandez reconstructs fragmented memories and inhabited landscapes through emotionally charged, self-referential narratives. Rooted in journalism, social sciences, and theatre set design, her hand-intensive process emphasises materiality and experimentation. She studied Fine Art, painting, and sculpture at the Armando Reverón University Institute (UNEARTE), alongside Social Sciences, Media, and Drama-Set Design at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas. Fernandez collaborates internationally with galleries and curators, with works held in public and private collections across the UK, Europe, the USA, Canada, Taiwan, and Venezuela.

Zumrud Zeynalli is a contemporary artist born in Baku, Azerbaijan. who blends Eastern and Western cultures in her art that is also largely inspired by childhood fairy tales and symbols in carpets. She visited 90 countries, explored unreal parts of the world and different cultures. Coming from very caring family and society and moving to London, she has faced many challenges but learned how to become an independent woman. As a woman who works as General Manager in a large company in the competitive and male-dominated oil field in United Arab Emirates – she still got a chance to nurture her creative side and express herself through painting.

SDGs through Arts – Türkiye Art Residency

ZeeArts Gallery is proud to announce an exclusive Art Residency in Türkiye, organized in collaboration with and Paradise Consultants, under the esteemed patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye.

Taking place from 22–30 June at the prestigious Museum of Anatolian Civilizations in Ankara, this unique residency will bring together 17 international artists and 17 Turkish artists in a powerful cultural exchange.

Together, they will co-create 17 masterpieces, each inspired by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—using art as a universal language to spark dialogue, inspire change, and foster global collaboration.

This immersive experience offers:
• Cross-cultural artistic collaboration
• Engagement with Türkiye’s rich heritage and creative scene
• A platform to contribute to a global sustainability narrative through art
