RDX Indo Mauritian Dance Group is run by Mr Gaurab Kumar Roy, Director and Choreographer from India. He is graduated from Calcutta University, India in Commerce field and pursued his passion for dance in various famous institutions. Mr Roy has a dance diploma from Attakalari, Bangalore. He further, learned Bollywood dance style from Shiamak Davar Institute. Followed by Breakdance and Hip Hop from
pineapple dance studio, England. In addition, he specialized himself in Contemporary Dance style, Ballet, Bharatanattyam, Yoga, Pillates and Kalaripayattu. To highlight that he introduced Kalaripayattu in Mauritius which is an Indian Martial Art. He has been a dance instructor at Literavalley Zee School, Ajanta Kala Sangam, Talent Studio (India), among others. Following high demand of his exquisite choreographies, his talent was sought by Stepz Dance Company, America. He has performed in big dance platforms in India, England, Scotland and is currently in Mauritius. He owns two dance studios in our paradise island under the name of Roy Dance Studio and has his talented group of dancers performing various dance styles in events famously known as RDX Indo Mauritian Dance Group.
