Creating Spaces where talent can truly grow.

With The Write Note ✍️, and put together a project which brought ten Malta-based upcoming artists to the forefront. Full of ideas, courage, and creativity, this project gave them a major step forward into their journey of songwriting development and artistic identity.

Supported by .manoel in collaboration with and (Milan), this project turned raw inspiration into polished performances in just five days thanks to the mentorship of and , and a very skillful band with and . The artists also received a good insight into artist management with .

The high level concluding performance last Sunday left the audience in awe of the outcome. 🤩

Here’s to building opportunities, nurturing talent and watching artists come alive! 🥂

At just 17, Elisa is already a powerhouse of talent – a singer and multi-instrumentalist who plays flute, cello, and piano. From winning 1st place at the international FluteFlight Competition to performing with the Malta Youth Orchestra since the age of 12, she’s been making music her world for years. 🎶✨

Now, Elisa is diving back into her first love – singing – and taking on the thrilling challenge of songwriting and studio recording. Driven, determined, and bursting with creativity, she’s ready to step onto the next stage of her musical journey and share her voice with the world. 🚀🎤

✨ Meet Maya Ann Portelli ✨ - selected participant for The Write Note

Maya discovered her passion for music at just 6 years old, singing in her church choir. She went on to study voice and contemporary music theory at the Malta School of Music, before teaching herself guitar and bass at 16 - the moment she truly found her love for songwriting.

Her music is driven by storytelling and personal experiences, with major inspiration drawn from Tuomas Holopainen (Nightwish), Dream Theater, and Roger Waters (The Wall).

We’re excited to see her bring her original song Castle to life during the program at Teatru Manoel! 🎶
