🍀Thank you to Volunteer Center Skopje for hosting this workshop and to all the volunteers who joined with such openness, curiosity, and enthusiasm.

🗾This session explored a different side of Japanese culture—not traditional arts or food, but everyday actions and the values that may lie behind them.

⚽Through examples such as Japanese football supporters cleaning stadiums, the national team's locker room, and moments of respect shown during international competitions, we discussed ideas including respect, gratitude, responsibility, and care for shared spaces.

🌍What made this workshop special was not the presentation itself, but the discussion. Participants shared perspectives from different countries, cultures, and experiences, creating a truly meaningful exchange.

🤝Thank you again to everyone who participated.

🚅This is only the beginning.

🍀Participants actively exchanged ideas, reflected on their own experiences, and shared different perspectives throughout the workshop.

🤗I am truly grateful to the Volunteer Center Skopje team for giving me the opportunity to turn this idea into a workshop.

📚Participants actively exchanged ideas, reflected on their own experiences, and shared different perspectives throughout the workshop.

📚Without much prompting, everyone naturally embraced the interactive format.

🗣️Rather than simply listening, they discussed, collaborated, and learned from one another🤝

😊The feedback collected after the workshop showed just how meaningful those conversations had been and how much participants took away from the experience💪

🤗Respect for Space and Shared Environment is a theme I have been thinking about ever since I began living in Macedonia🇲🇰

🩷I am truly grateful to the Volunteer Center Skopje team for giving me the opportunity to turn this idea into a workshop.

🏫On July 9, 2026, I held a “Go-Mi-Bako Project” workshop at the NGO school of Sumnal.

🏫When I visited this school on April 7, I saw that the children had written “No Rubbish” as one of their hopes for the future.

💓Those words stayed in my mind, and they inspired me to bring an idea I had been developing for several years into reality.

🚮The Go-Mi-Bako Project is not a workshop to teach children a new set of values.

😊It is a workshop where children and adults can grow together by sharing the feelings that already exist within children — the desire to take care of the places that are close to them🤝

I hope to continue this activity as a time to nurture love and ca🌟re for our town and community, starting from the thoughts and voices of children.

🏫2026年7月9日にSumnalというNGOの学校で”Go-Mi-Bako Project”ワークショップを行いました。

🏫4月7日に、こちらの学校で、子どもたちが将来への希望として”No Rubbish”と掲げていたのを見ました。

💓そこで、数年にわたって温めていたアイディアを形にしたいと思いました。

🚮”Go-Mi-Bako Project”は、子どもたちに新しい価値観を教えるワークショップではありません。

😊子どもたちの中にある「身近な場所を大切にしたいという気持ち」を友だちや大人と共有することで、子どもと大人がともに育っていくワークショップです🤝

🌟子どもたちの中にある思いを起点に、街とコミュニティへの愛情を育てていく時間として続けていきたい活動です。

🇲🇰🇫🇷On June 23, a Japanese culture workshop was conducted as part of a school event at the French International School in Skopje (EFIS),

where we enjoyed making koinobori (carp streamers) through origami together with the children🎏

🇲🇰🇫🇷The venue was filled with many children and parents😊

🇲🇰🇫🇷Each child was deeply focused on creating their own koinobori.

🇯🇵In addition to koinobori, I also introduced origami such as cranes, hearts, and helmets.

🇲🇰🇫🇷It was impressive to see the children showing interest in each of these origami designs.

🇯🇵It was a meaningful opportunity for cultural exchange through experiencing Japanese culture.

🇯🇵I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the teachers and staff of EFIS for their kind invitation.

🚌Neither of these events was created simply for tourism.

🗾In small rural towns across Japan, why do communities put so much creativity and effort into local events?

🍀Behind beautiful landscapes are the people working to preserve them for future generations.

🍀Early summer in Japan is not only a season of fresh greenery and rice planting.

🗾It is also a season of community, cooperation, and local traditions.

🌾When you see beautiful rice terraces or lively mud events, perhaps take a moment to wonder about the people and ideas that keep these places alive.
