It's raining in Podgorica today. And I want to share this picture that was made on Zeta river between rain-showers on the day like this. I noticed this place since it was the only one on this river prepared for fishing. I parked the car the owner came to check who we are just in a couple of minutes. The huge Asian Shephard watched over the place as well and we spotted him by the end of our visit. Good that he was tied.

Sušičko means drying. For me as a guy who spent more than 20 years of life in European part of Russia, lakes that periodically dry up were amazing opening when I moved to Montenegro. The first experience was with lake in Lovćen national park. We found the lake on a map and when we got there the was just a meadow surrounded with forest. Sušičko wasn't as surprising as previous one but still I was surprised. On this photo taken last weekend the lake is almost in best its condition due to snow melting and Spring rains.

I am really happy for the bw Thursday. I'd like to share with you recent photo from Korita, small village which is just 30 km from my home. I have two favourite places in Montenegro: Komovi region and this village. As far as I need to grow as an artist I was thinking of my first project. For film photography, I guess it would be a book with prints from Korita.

I'm still trying to be consistent in posting bw photos. I developed 5 new films this weekend and found that Fomapan 400 looked very beautiful in Rodinal 1+50, even better than in D-76 1:1. Negatives were sharp and dense enough for scanning and printing (I'm waiting for a lens adapter to start printing since compatible lens for medium format prints is broken; for some reason, Schneider-Kreuznach Companar 105 f/4.5 has 32 mm mount instead of common 39 mm).
This photo is taken one-hour before sunset in the coniferous forest of Vrmac mountain a couple of weeks ago. I liked the most on this picture that the light was shining through the small ferns and backlight among the tree logs made a contrast between the lower and upper part of the image.

Spontaneous trip to the borderlands of Montenegro and BiH let me take this picture. I drove out the tunnel and saw this mountain with this exact light which made colors super vibrant. It was impossible to stop there and I had to drive several kilometers forward and turn around. The spent time was worth it.

My plan is to post my photos on Tuesdays and Thursdays, let's see if it works. The chair was shot close to Kraljeva plaža, one of the best places to enjoy existence. The sea here looks like in books about dinosaurs, pine grow, spike cliffs, no one around.
