Where is wild camping allowed in Europe?
Camping is a great adventure, but in most European countries, wild camping is illegal to preserve nature.

The most loyal countries for this type of vacation are Sweden, Norway, Ireland, Estonia, Latvia and Spain. In these countries, you can pitch tents and spend several days in one place on state land.

Montenegro

We decided to introduce a special section in which we will acquaint you with those who choose camper vacations. One of these people, Alexander from Russia, he is 49 years old, prefers a tent to a hotel room, loves traveling in the mountains, a car - Toyota Hilux.

And that's why he chooses a tent on the roof of the car:
“I didn't like in a tent on the ground that you had to spread it out, choose an even and“ soft ”place, and put everything back in the morning. Folding is three times more difficult and longer, because nothing fits into the covers. Before, if it started raining before I laid out my tent, I just didn't stay overnight. Now, with a tent on the roof of the car, I, on the contrary, go to the mountains to get caught in the rain.
It is such a thrill to lie warm and dry, listen to the rain drumming on the plastic roof, and realize that tomorrow morning you will get out dry, spend a couple of minutes and move on.
Throughout the summer, almost every weekend my wife and I travel with great pleasure to different parts of Crimea. Yes, our first tent (pictured) was far from ideal. There is little space in it, it is hard to sleep, but how convenient it is to unfold and fold it compared to the ground one!
