I think I draw love because it reveals people.
not in grand gestures, but in small things —
the way someone looks at another person
for half a second too long,
the way warmth settles into their expression,
the way tenderness quietly reshapes a face.

That’s the part I want to capture.
Not romance itself, but the humanity hidden inside it.

I think we know our own faces
less than we think we do.
We recognize them, of course,
but recognition and understanding
are two different things.
You stop seeing a “you”
and start noticing
small things instead.
The way light settles under tired eyes,
the shape of thoughts sitting
quietly in your expression,
all the details no mirror ever
really shows you.

There is something terribly romantic about light in art.
It reveals only what it wishes to reveal, and leaves the rest to imagination — which, after all, has always been the loveliest part of beauty.

Perhaps that is why I adore painting glow so much. It makes even silence feel alive.
