*A CALL FOR URGENT ACTION: OUR CHILDREN MUST COME HOME SAFELY*

The United Nations Association of Africa (UNAA) expresses deep concern and condemnation over the continued abduction of innocent school children and their teachers in Nigeria.

Every child deserves safety, education, and the freedom to dream about a better future—not fear, trauma, and uncertainty. The images before us are not just photographs; they represent lives, families, hopes, and futures currently hanging in the balance.

We strongly condemn the actions of the kidnappers and call for the immediate and unconditional release of all the children and teachers in captivity.

We respectfully urge the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the relevant State Governor, security agencies, and all stakeholders to intensify efforts and take urgent action to secure their safe return.

Today, it is these children. Tomorrow, it could be anyone's child. Silence is not an option. Humanity demands that we raise our voices.

Let us not look away because our own children are not among them. Let us not become comfortable with pain and injustice. Our conscience must speak.

UNAA stands with the affected families and joins millions of concerned citizens in demanding the safe return of these children and their teachers.
