Eighty-three people, a rope, and a mask over everyone's eyes. One instruction: make a perfect square.

What everyone remembers is the laughter.

We ran this with major swiss group during a teambuilding Week end in Marrakech last December, with the support of our friend , the coach who leads the exercise. Something changes the moment the mask goes on. People who had clearly not understood the brief started giving orders with complete confidence. Nobody can see you, so nobody can judge you, and suddenly everyone knows exactly where the corner is.

Then one person laughed and the whole group went down — eighty-three adults bent double, unable to keep the rope off the ground.

The square was never finished. It rarely is. What stays is watching quiet people take charge because a piece of cloth took away the fear of looking silly.

Then we went to dinner, and nobody said the word rope again.

What does your team sound like when nobody can see?

Half of Europe's inboxes just switched to auto-reply. We know — we email them daily. ☀️

Mid-July in Marrakech works the other way around. While the beaches fill up, autumn is quietly taking shape across Morocco: incentives in the desert, conventions and teambuildings everywhere from the Atlas to the Atlantic coast.

The trips your teams will still be talking about in January are being drawn right now, in flip-flop season.

So to everyone currently on a sunbed: switch off properly, you've earned it. Your autumn is in good hands — we're keeping your seats warm. In Marrakech in July, that part takes care of itself.

Happy summer from the whole MRCO team.😘

150 people, one convention in Rabat — and two completely different afternoons.

Morning: plenary hall, chandeliers, hallway deals between sessions. Afternoon: everyone on the sand under the old kasbah for a city rally, printed maps in hand, phones out anyway. Checkpoints marked with baskets of dates — and a pack of antibacterial wipes right next to them.

Half the group ended the day in pink chèches, Atlantic waves right there.

Rabat rarely makes the incentive shortlist. This group got it anyway.

Where would you send a group that's already done Marrakech twice?

For years, our answer to "can we do it on motorbikes?" was a very professional no.

Then one client — a global energy drink brand, you'd recognize the logo — kept asking.
Longer than our resistance lasted, it turns out. So in February: twelve riders, one day out of Marrakech.
Breakfast on the shore of Lake Lalla Takerkoust, then trails climbing toward Oukaïmeden with a partner crew who polish their bikes the way other people polish silverware.

The machines rolled out spotless at sunrise. At 6pm, the doorman of a five-star palace watched twelve grown adults walk Atlas mud across his marble without blinking once.
We're told the boots survived.

What's the ride your team keeps asking for?

Thirty groups in five weeks. That was the brief.

A global car brand wanted clients driving its newest model on real terrain, and ran the whole operation out of Morocco. Fly in, drive a three-day loop, fly out — then we reset everything before the next group landed.

The loop crossed stony desert pistes, a river ford below the gorges, and ended on the dunes at Erg Chebbi with a camp waiting behind the crest. Group one is easy; everyone's fresh. The real work is group twenty-eight, on a Friday of week five, when the tea still has to arrive hot at the dune camp.

By the end, the crew could turn the camp around before the incoming group had even boarded their flight.

Where would you take a product launch that needs real terrain?

A Dutch firm doubled its revenue last year. To celebrate, instead of a dinner back home, they brought sixteen people to Marrakech for four days.

City and desert. A morning cycling the medina with a local crew that trains kids from the old town as guides — down lanes no map shows. A 4x4 raid over the Atlas foothills to a camp in the Agafay.

Last night: a fire show burning the company's name into the dark. Then the music cut — sixteen tents, a lot of stars.

More teams are marking the big wins somewhere they'll actually remember.

This week we swapped Marrakech for Copenhagen — sun for sweaters.

A few days in Denmark: client meetings and a session at Copenhagen Business School, all circling one question — why are more Scandinavian teams choosing Morocco for their next incentive?

And it's not just Denmark. Talk to event and people teams in Stockholm or Oslo and you'll hear the same thing: they want incentives with substance. Culture, landscape, a story people actually retell back at the office. Not a third beach buffet.

So: a few days of listening, a notebook full of ideas, and a renewed appreciation for Moroccan weather.

What tips a destination from 'maybe' to 'booked'?

From all of us at MRCO Company — Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating.

This week Morocco lives its most generous tradition: the open door, the full table, the guest who comes first. It's the same spirit we bring to every team we welcome the rest of the year.

It's May. Our biggest event lands in November. And we're already here.
Officially: a site inspection. Unofficially: a long, quiet hour watching kites, wind, and horses crossing the gold-lit sand.

Anticipation doesn't start when guests arrive. It starts now — six months out, standing on the ground, letting Essaouira tell us what the experience wants to be.

You can't plan a feeling from a screen. You have to stand in it first. 🌅
