The Old Man’s Wallet
One rainy morning, Daniel found a wallet on the sidewalk.
Inside was $300, an ID card, and a small family photo.
He could have kept the money.
Instead, he searched for the address on the ID.
When he arrived, an elderly man opened the door.
The moment he saw the wallet, his eyes filled with tears.
“That money was for my wife’s medicine,” he said.
Daniel handed it back.
The old man offered him $50 as a reward.
Daniel refused.
“I don’t need it.”
The old man smiled and said:
“Then remember this… what you do when nobody is watching shows who you really are.”
Daniel walked away with nothing in his hands.
But somehow…
He felt richer than before.
Sometimes, doing the right thing doesn’t make you richer in money…
It makes you richer as a person.
