Life finally has a meaning and a purpose. I finally know what its like to put an effort, to suffer, and reap satisfying rewards far beyond my own selfish desires. One of the lies i believed was that there was no such thing as a selfless act, for even in selfless acts one finds selfish joy, but that changed when my faith was restored and i realized the value of intentions and what intentions truly mean. As our prophet Mohamed peace be upon him said "انما الاعمال بالنيات، وانما لكل امرئ ما نوى".
الحمد لله حمدا كثيرا طيبا مباركا فيه، والشكر لله شكرا كثيرا طيبا مباركا فيه 🙇🏻‍♂️

More than i could have wished for, i’m thankful and grateful for them being part of my life and easing my solitude ♥️

Its been almost 3 years since i last drew anything i think, and yesterday when i heard the sad news of aziz saadallah‘s passing it made me want to honor his memory.
You all know this is not something i often do, i dont like to ride the hype train of such sad events however the show lalla fatima was one of the best if not the best moroccan show that our television has ever came up with and i love it therefore i decided to do so.
And im terribly anguished by the idea that it always takes death to get us to appreciate what we once had.
There are few moroccan shows that marked my childhood such as lalla fatima, there is “ana wkhouya wmrato” with said naciri as well as “bouchta obougtaya” with mohamed el khiari and Noureddine Bikr, i will try to do a drawing for each of them as well.
My condolences to Aziz’s family and all of his friends as well as his fans. May his soul rest in peace and he will forever live in our hearts.

Also i think you all might want to check out incorrectlallafatimaquotes on insta to remember what a great show that was as well as share a laugh in these sad times.
