Mazliet neparasti, mazliet specifiski, bet tieši tāpēc tik īpaši.

Kastaņi. Vieni no tiem mazajiem rudens vēstnešiem, kurus ieraugot uzreiz zini — vasara pamazām atkāpjas un tuvojas laiks siltākiem džemperiem, zeltainām lapām un pastaigām, kur kabatās nemanot sakrājas kastaņi. 🍂

Šis dizains tapa pagājušajā rudenī pēc kāda īpaša pasūtījuma. Un man tas iepatikās tik ļoti, ka nolēmu — lai kastaņi nepaliek tikai vienā eksemplārā.

A little unusual, a little specific — but that’s exactly what makes them so special.

Chestnuts. One of those little signs of autumn that instantly tells you summer is slowly slipping away, making room for warmer sweaters, golden leaves, and walks where chestnuts somehow find their way into your pockets. 🍂

This design was originally created last autumn as a special custom order. I loved it so much that I decided these little chestnuts deserved to be more than a one-of-a-kind piece.

Ar nelielu nokavēšanos — vēl mazliet saules aptumsuma ķeršanas. 🌒✨

Droši vien skaistās bildes un video internetā jau esat pārskatījušies no visām iespējamām pusēm… Bet man tomēr gribējās parādīt arī mūsu mirkli.

Vīrs safilmēja skaistus kadrus no augšas — Jelgava, Palienes pļavas. No augšas viss izskatās mazliet citādi. Plašāk. Mierīgāk. Un var redzēt, ka šajā reizē mēs pavisam noteikti nebijām vieni. Pļavas bija pilnas ar cilvēkiem, kas skatījās debesīs un gaidīja. 🤍

Man ļoti patīk tādi brīži — kad uz mirkli visi noliek malā savas ikdienas lietas un skatās vienā virzienā. Uz augšu.

Un man šoreiz līdzi arī mazā bezdelīgas piespraudīte. 🖤

Tāda maza detaļa pie apģērba, bet bezdelīga pati par sevi man vienmēr šķitusi kā brīvības, viegluma un vasaras sajūta.

A little late, but here’s one more glimpse of the solar eclipse. 🌒✨

You’ve probably already seen so many beautiful photos and videos online… but I still wanted to share our little moment with you.

My husband captured some beautiful footage from above — Jelgava, Palienes Meadows. Everything looks a little different from up there. Wider. Calmer. And you can clearly see that we definitely weren’t alone. The meadows were full of people looking up at the sky and waiting. 🤍

I love moments like this — when, just for a little while, everyone puts their everyday life aside and looks in the same direction. Up.
And this time, my little swallow brooch came along with me too. 🖤

Such a small detail to wear, yet swallows have always made me think of freedom, lightness, and summer.

Rotas mēs neizvēlamies gluži nejauši.

Vienā dienā gribas ko pavisam mazu un nemanāmu. Citā — uzlikt ko košu, lielu un tādu, kas uzreiz pasaka: šodien man ir noskaņojums.

Un reizēm ir tā rota, kuru uzvelc tik bieži, ka tā kļūst par mazu daļu no tevis.

Tāpēc man patīk radīt dažādas rotas. Ziedus, putnus, dzīvniekus un mazliet neparastas lietas.

Jo mēs taču arī esam tik dažādi.

Varbūt starp manām rotām ir arī kāda, kas ir tieši par Tevi. 🤍

Gala rezultāts sanāk tik tīrs un skaists, ka pašai jābrīnās. ✨

Jo ikdiena darbnīcā nemaz nav tik skaista — netīras rokas, putekļi, krāsu smaržas un sejas maska, lai no tām pasargātu sevi.

Un bez priekšauta strādāt vispār nedrīkst. 😄 Jo tad kaut kas noteikti iekrīt klēpī… un, ja tas vēl ir svaigi apgleznots, nu tad apģērbam ir beigas.

Un tomēr — no visa šī procesa beigās rodas kaut kas pavisam tīrs, smalks un skaists.

Man laikam tieši šis process arī patīk visvairāk — apzināties, ka aiz tās mazās, skaistās rotas ir rokas, putekļi, krāsas, pacietība un ļoti daudz darba.

Sometimes the final result turns out so clean and beautiful that even I’m a little surprised. ✨

Because everyday life in the studio isn’t nearly as pretty — dirty hands, dust, the smell of paints and a face mask to protect myself from it all.

And working without an apron? Absolutely not. 😄 Because something will inevitably land in your lap… and if it’s freshly painted, well, goodbye clothes.

And yet — somehow, from all of this, something so clean, delicate and beautiful comes to life in the end. 🌻
I think that’s what I love most about the process — knowing that behind that small, beautiful piece of jewelry there are hands, dust, paint, patience and a whole lot of work.

August blooms in the colors of sunflowers. 🌻

There are flowers that carry more than just color within them. Sunflowers have always reminded me of light, warmth, and the fullness of summer.

This year, the sunflower in our garden will bloom a little later. We planted the sunflower gifted at my son’s graduation so late that we are still waiting for its first blossom. Perhaps it is the waiting that makes the moment of blooming even more special.

The joy of sunflower season has been transformed into jewelry – pieces filled with the feeling of summer.
