The story of Liiber Design started in 2021, when I decided it’s time to believe in myself and create something unique and one-of-a-kind. Little by little, something real and tangible emerged from the first ideas and sketches. Autumn has only just begun, yet it already feels like so much has happened. 🍂 Let me share a little of what I’ve been up to.

There’s no shortage of work in the LIIBER studio. I’ve been busy creating your orders, while a bigger project is also taking shape behind the scenes — one I can’t tell you about just yet. Even though I really want to. 🤭

Every autumn-inspired order brings me so much joy. Still, it seems that summer hasn’t quite left us. Cornflowers remain among your favourites, while poppies are travelling across Europe too. So a little touch of summer is following us into autumn. 🌺

I love working hard during the week and then taking time at the weekend to truly clear my head — wandering through forests, going to concerts, and admiring what others have created. Because even a maker needs moments to pause, feel, and find inspiration again.

I got a little carried away with the ’80s photo trend on Instagram. 🤭

At first, it was just one. Then another. And another… until, before I knew it, I had a whole gallery.

For some reason, though, not a single photo dressed me in jeans or one of those colourful ’80s jackets like everyone else. But never mind — these turned out rather lovely too. 😅

I guess my version of the ’80s simply had a slightly different story to tell. ✨

Pasaulē atkal un atkal pienāk ziņas, kuras ir grūti aptvert. Viena no tām ir Nepālā notikusī traģēdija.

Tā apstādina un liek sev pajautāt — vai esmu pateicīga par šodienu? Par katru jaunu rītu, ko Dievs man dāvā?

Dzīve ir neizsakāmi trausla. Šogad to īpaši sāpīgi esmu piedzīvojusi arī pati, sastopoties ar ļoti personīgu zaudējumu.

Turpinām ticēt un lūgt par latviešiem, par kuriem vēl nav ziņu, un par viņu tuviniekiem, kuri šobrīd dzīvo smagā neziņā. No visas sirds jūtu līdzi ikvienam, kurš šajā traģēdijā zaudējis savējos. 🤍

Again and again, news reaches us from around the world that is difficult to comprehend. One such story is the tragedy in Nepal.

It makes us stop and ask ourselves — am I grateful for today? For every new morning God gives me?

Life is unimaginably fragile. This year, I too have experienced this in an especially painful way through a deeply personal loss.

We continue to hope and pray for the Latvians who are still missing, and for their loved ones living through this painful uncertainty. My heart goes out to everyone who has lost someone dear in this tragedy. 🤍

Dažreiz vasara atvadās tieši tā, kā vajag — ar jūru, citroniem ausīs un Pavlovas kūku, kurai pelnīti dodu 10 no 10. 🍋

Pēdējo vasaras dienu nosvinējām pie jūras un Bermudas restorānā. Tik silta uzņemšana, tik jaukas viesmīles un sajūta, ka šeit gribas atgriezties vēlreiz.

Citroni ausīs, protams. Tos es ņemšu līdzi visos silto zemju ceļojumos, jo tajos dzīvo mana pilnīgā vasaras sajūta — saule, vieglums un mazliet bezrūpības.

Bet jūra… Jūrā varētu skatīties ilgi, ilgi. Klausīties viļņos un sajust maigās smiltis starp kāju pirkstiem.

Šī diena bija tik ļoti vajadzīga pēc ilgstošās slimošanas, kas vēl nav līdz galam atkāpusies. Mazliet jūras, vēja un skaistuma — kā kluss atgādinājums, ka arī spēks pamazām atgriežas.

Sometimes summer says goodbye exactly the way it should — with the sea, lemon earrings, and a Pavlova cake that fully deserves a 10 out of 10. 🍋

We celebrated the last day of summer by the sea and at Bermudas Restaurant. Such a warm welcome, such lovely waitresses, and the feeling that this is a place I would love to return to.

Lemon earrings, of course. I’ll take them with me on every trip to warmer places, because they hold my perfect feeling of summer — sunshine, lightness, and a little carefree joy.

But the sea… I could gaze at it for hours and hours. Listening to the waves and feeling the soft sand between my toes.

This day was so deeply needed after a long illness that still hasn’t fully let go. A little sea, wind, and beauty — like a quiet reminder that my strength is slowly returning too.

Oh, summer… We’ll be waiting for you to come back. 🤍
