Folk and court - closer than you think!

This was especially so in the 19th century when dance - just like so many other forms of art - reached back to the 'roots': folk culture.

Curious? No better way to learn more than paying a visit to the classes of Court Dancing Luxembourg and Vallée des Sept Châteaux (Luxembourg))! ;)

Great performance at Munkácsy Asbl's event to commemorate the Hungarian revolution and freedom fight of 1848-49, debuting the 19th-century dances of the polonaise, the polka, and the viennese waltz.

Let me highlight:
- the waltz: the fruit of a long-long rehearsal period in isolation and challenging restrictions 👏
- and the polka: the result of our cooperation with Grupo Folclórico Luxemburguês Feierwon and Vallée des Sept Châteaux 🤝
