Deviating from our usual posts, we wanted to share some important information with you all regarding a member of Pirates.

We have recently learned that our videographer Mikhail Lochtchinine, Mike, is being held in a Russian prison since last August. Mike has filmed and edited many of our shows, Thirteen and Sound of Music among the latest ones. He is being held on allegations of treason and is awaiting his trial on March 16th. Audition Details:
We are looking for adult (sixteen years and over) actors, singers and dancers. There will be roles available that just consist of dancing, singing, or acting, so auditionees need not be skilled in all three disciplines. The show’s language is English.

Show Synopsis:
When a medieval kingdom is ravaged by an epidemic, the King summons a renowned herbalist to the capital to seek a remedy. However, she soon turns from helper to accused. As the kingdom plunges into chaos, she is caught in a trap laid by a trio of witches and is condemned to death for sorcery. Her only hope for escape rests on the assistance of a natural philosopher, a knight, and her faithful fox companion.

The music for the show will span a wide range of music, from traditional songs (“Scarborough Fair”, “Fly Away on the Wings of the Wind”) to rock, jazz and pop (Neil Diamond’s “Be”, Eric Truffaz’s “Let Me Go”) and even metal (Nightwish’s “Sleeping Sun”), all arranged in a medieval style with modern elements blended in.
