Arabic Association for Cultural Exchange AACE - Arabic Association for Cultural Exchange

Non-Governmental, Non-Profit, Non-Political, Non-Rel

As AACE founders, we believe that this world has become small - too small for nations and cultures to live separately, but close and interconnected to create impactful cultural collaborations. History of humanity has seen periods of crashes, conflicts, struggles for power and control, and confusing images created by politics and the media. Nevertheless, the golden moments of this history have alwa

ys been generated by cooperation, understanding and intercultural exchange. In autumn 2016, several individuals met in Luxembourg, coming from distinct professional background, experience and ages, but all of them valuing art as common, universal language. After several meetings and capacitor discussions, the idea of creating AACE emerged, and the association became legally established in Luxembourg in February 2017. If we stand together as an example to the rest of the world, we can show that differences are not our weakness but that unity in diversity creates our strength! We want to assist in scaling up successful initiatives built upon acceptance and inclusion, pool ideas and share these good examples throughout the European Union. AACE Team & Backgrounds:

In a generous response to our proposal, submitted by the Arabic Association for Cultural Exchange (AACE) to foster closer ties and mutual understanding, the CLAE Centre hosted a valuable introductory meeting at its premises on 2nd December 2025.

The gathering brought together associations from the Southern Mediterranean region, including:
ALKITAB, ASAL, Association de Soutien aux Nouveaux Citoyens, Association of Kurds in Luxembourg, Coopération Luxembourg-Algérie, CTL – Communauté Tunisienne Luxembourgeoise, EWC – Women and Children Empowerment, Kind Doors, Les Jasmins de Carthage, Les Sœurs de Lumière, Luxembourg Hope Organisation, Main Solidaire Luxembourg, Marokkanesch Kultur asbl, Mosaic.EU, Muse asbl, RAHMA, and Roj Lux asbl.

We extend our sincere gratitude to CLAE for this thoughtful initiative and warm hospitality. We look forward to building strong, collaborative relationships that amplify the voices, cultures, and contributions of Southern Mediterranean communities in Luxembourg.
