“Lebitso Laka ke Khotso Maphathe and I’m a solution oriented oriented young man. For so long Basotho youth have been pointing out all the wrong things about the art industry in Lesotho and how the government and Basotho don’t support art.

For the first time in my journey, I have a collection of photographs coupled with a mini book that brings about a fresh perspective on one of the most profitable industries Lesotho can be recognized and glorified globally for.

I aim to shift our perspective and approach to art, and I believe after this exhibition, quite a number of artists can learn a thing or two. The public and government as well. I know it may sound like a bold statement for one to make but this is how much I believe in the body of work I’ve created.”
